Pilgrims Coming To America
Plymouth Reflection The history of the Pilgrims coming to the United States of America is
something that we have learned about since first grade. Each year throughout our education we get
into more depth about the events that took place and what actually happened. Both of the two
passages explains in their different ways about the Pilgrims journey and their life in the new
world. Some of the hardships that the Pilgrims faced while living in the new world was illness and
trying to create a new community on the unknown land. The new settlers stayed on the Mayflower
for a few months but finally moved onto land permanently. Once the first winter came along many
became ill and some even died. A disease swept through the colony. But not long after,

Mike O. Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge
Since the early days, the men try overcome environmental challenges and, in this process, ends up
creating amazing masterpieces of engineering. Among this works, the bridges appears as the
clearest representatives of how the mankind could adapt to Earth s contours. If the shape of
landscape can t be changed, the bridgesare the solution to link two places and allows the connection
of the traffic to improve aspects such as the communication and the trade. Depending to the need, to
the sources and to the environment, the bridgecan be constructed in a specific configuration. There
are five main sorts of bridges configurations. First, there is the simplest bridge, the beam bridge.
Second, the archbridge, one of the oldest kind. There are the truss, composed of set of trellises.

Among the hundreds of thousands bridges in the world, two worth mentioning for their history and
unique features. These two engineering masterpieces are the Mike O Callaghan Pat Tillman
Memorial Bridge, as known as Hoover Dam Bypass Bridge and the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge. Through
the analysis of their characteristics, it is possible compare and contrast these projects in aspects
such as historic facts, design features, and environmental and construction challenges.
First, the construction of the bride reflects a need and depends of the constructors sources. A
bridge is basically constructed to link two places, but its importance comes from the reason for
which it was made. Each bridge has its own motive to exist and history. In the case of the Hoover
Dam Bypass, the project was conceived as a alternative to the traffic. Previously the construction
of the bridge, the big project of the hydroelectric dam on the Colorado River, also was used as a

Violence In Honduras
Intro
The Central American counties of the Northern Triangle: Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador are
considered the most dangerous countries in the world that are not at war. The region is very
unstable due to weak governments and gangs. The gangs in these countries rule the streets taking
innocent lives, sex trafficking and rapimg women and children, while the government does little to
stop them. The violence started at different times in these countries. In Honduras during the 1980s
the right winged rebel group, the Contras housed themselves in the country. El Salvador s violence
dates back to 1979 with the Civil war. This war was between the government s military and the

Pakist Pakistan For Counter Terrorism And Sino Pak...
Pakistan by virtue of its geographic location started its international collaborated in 1990s during
the Afghan war. After the war ended, it had to face the post war consequences as a burden of more
than 3 million Afghan refugees, ever growing drug trade in neighborhood as well as Federally
Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) of Pakistan
. Indeed the militia which fought against erstwhile
USSR in Afghanistanwas abruptly abandoned who found safe haven along Pakistan Afghan borders.
After 9/11 the situation got complicated, Pakistan was to be fighting against those who were once
trained in collaboration with CIA. Despite worst domestic pressures, Pakistan continued its
commitment to international community in its counter terrorismefforts. Beside others, Ramzi Yousef
and Mir Amal Kansi, the prime perpetrator of terrorists attacks on World Trade Center and United
States embassies in Africa were apprehended by Pakistan. Despite being the victim of terrorism
itself, Pakistan has been cooperating with the international community and the US in
counterterrorism efforts . After 9/11 China sought cooperation from Pakistan for counter terrorism
and Sino Pak cooperation and combating terrorism, separatism and extremism agreements were
signed in 2005 and 2006. Meanwhile, Pakistani forces killed Hasan Mahsum, head of the East

From Outrage By Anne Murray Summary
Anne Murray states that, Women s health is so much more than medical issues; it is cultural,
political, economic, and above all, an issue of social justice (From Outrage to Courage, 2008, p.1).
Women s health is an issue of social justice in a sense that fairness and equality should be
primordial in the health care system. Social justice aims to support the wellbeing of all individuals
regardless of differences. Unfortunately, little has been done to promote and improve women s
health. An analysis of social and economic circumstances that affect women s health in
development reveals that: inequality in health care in terms of poor health and poverty affect the
health of women. In Amnesty International, Deadly Delivery and From Outrage... Show more

One of the points mentioned by Anne Murray is how women s health s has been ignored and
neglected. This is a true case. Going back to the olden days and basing my analysis on women as
healers, Witches, Midwives, and Nurses by English and Ehrenreich tells us women s story as
health workers and denounce the history of suppression. Women have always been healers. Even
though they were not licensed with medical degrees, women were nurses and pharmacists. Today,
however, the health care system is a male dominated industry. Because it has become the property
of male professionals, many issues are affecting women and their children. For instance, according
to Murray, female infants and children s access to food and/ or medical care has been neglected
because researchers either view the household as a single entity with uniform internal distribution
or treat newborns as a sex neutral category. This demonstrates that little attention; research and
financial support are given to expand the wellbeing of women and their children. The lack of
participation of women in planning and implementing health care policies and politics has failed to

Bruce Lee s Impact on American Media
42 years after his death, Bruce Lee is still viewed as the greatest icon of martial arts cinema. His
philosophy and charisma made him legend amongst popular culture. It s arguable whether or not
the martial arts film genre would have survived in American Cinema without Bruce Lee and his
incredible movies in the early 1970 s. Till this day, Bruce Lee s Influence in modern media is
apparent. Bruce Lee has become a household name, like Mickey Mouse and The Beatles.
Bruce Lee was born on November 27, 1940 in San Francisco. One year later, Bruce and his family

However, the show was surprisingly terminated after only one season, but at that point he was
praised more than the star of the show. Later, he opened a third branch of his Wing Chun School
in Los Angeles, and began providing private martial arts training to film stars including Steve
McQueen and James Coburn. In addition, Bruce was told by Chinese traditionalist to stop teaching
Kung Fu to non asians. He did not listen and challenged the traditionalists to a fight against their
best fighter. Bruce won the challenge but was not satisfied. He felt that fight lasted too long. He
refined his style of Wing Chun, he incorporated aspects of other fighting styles such as Boxing and
Western Fencing and called it Jeet Kune Do (Way of the Intercepting Fist).
With his minor success in Hollywood, Bruce returned to Hong Kong and was approached by film
producer Raymond Chow who had started Golden Harvest Productions. Chow offered him the
lead role in The Big Boss (1971). When it released in Hong Kong, the film was an instant hit.
Chinese youth loved seeing a film starring a tough, athletic Chinese hero who dispensed justice
with his fists and feet. Chow quickly assembled another script entitled The Chinese Connection

Holy Sonnet 10, Macavity The Mystery Cat And The Sunshine Kid
What is poetry? According to the 47 Essential Poetry Terms, poetry is abstract language. There are
multiple ways of exploring the abstractness of poetry. One is DIDLS, touching upon the areas of
Diction, Imagery, Details, Language, and Sentence Structure. Another is TPCASTT, which touches
upon Title, Paraphrase, Connotation, Attitude, Shift In Attitude, Revisitation of the Title, and
Theme. The last one is the aforementioned 47 Essential PoetryTerms, 47 devices that describe
various occurrences found in poetry. The 3 poems that will be examined in this in this essay.
Alliteration, Couplet, and Personification reflect the three most prominent poetry devices found in

Couplet can be defined as 2 rhyming lines. In Holy Sonnet 10, this device is utilized a total of
three times. One particular example can be found towards the beginning of the text, where Death
is being described as not mighty or dreadful, and just beyond that (Donne Lines 2 3). The 2nd line
ends with the word so, and the 3rd ends with overthrow. Seeing as these two words rhyme, and it
consists of two lines, this is indeed a Couplet. In Macavity The Mystery Cat, evidence of a
Couplet is found at the very beginning of the text. Macavity is being introduced as the hidden
Paw, due to how he s the master criminal who can defy the Law (Eliot Lines 1 2). Paw is found
at the end of the first line, and Law is found at the end of the second. Seeing as there are two
lines with rhyming words found at the end of them, this is a Couplet. In The Sunshine Kid, there
is a plethora of Couplet examples. One particular example is found more towards the end of the
poem. Little Miss Sunshine has just basically said to The Sunshine Kid that only he can choose to
dim his light. It goes into saying how Whether the weatherman said it or not, it would be fine,
Cause even behind the clouds the kid could still shine (Baker Lines 77 78). Fine and Shine are
rhyming words, both at the ends of their respective lines 92 in total), which constitutes a

Imaging Modalities Essay
Introduction In the medical world, there are several imaging modalities that are being used in
order to diagnose various pathologies. This research paper will talk about some of these different
imaging ways, as well as how an MRI functions in detail. Nuclear medicine. Edward Williams, BS,
AAS, CNMT of McLaren Greater Lansing spoke to the class and described general details
regarding nuclear medicine. Nuclear medicine is an imaging modality that includes both anatomy
and physiology by delivering various radioactive materials to the patient. The materials react within
the patient and their activity is monitored by the technologist. The patient is injected with
radioactive isotopes such as Tc 99m, TI 201, I 123 and I 131. Adverse reactions to
radiopharmaceuticals are not very common, although common safety protocols must be adhered to.
After the injection, the patient lays on the table that has imaging cameras placed above and below
the table. (Williams, 2017). Mammography. Katrina Lynn Steinsultz, BS, RT(R)(M) of LCC spoke
in the class regarding this modality. Mammography includes the imaging of the breast tissue of
women and even men. There are four different breast tissues that exist within the breast: granular
tissue, fatty tissue, connective tissues, and ducts. Different compression paddles are used for
different exams, depending on the... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The powerful magnets are a great concern when it comes to anything metal that may be inside or

Community Policing
Abstract
The descent of good neighbourhoods begins with unruly behaviour, loitering and other disruptive
acts by members of society. Due to the reality that crime is a problem; it is beneficial to police
officers and law enforcement to interact with communities and discover what needs to be done and
how urgent that action must be executed. Due to its ability to uncover problems and lead to the
efficient management of those problems, community policing is still an effective method to keep
crime rates down, boost community resident s sense of safety and maintain orderly communities.
Community Policing is an ideal, created over the years through rigorous research this method of

Close knit communities are less likely to struggle with rampant crime. This is a benefit of
community policing. Members of the community can contribute significantly to strategies for
containing and eradicating crime. Due to the closeness the police officers have with the community,
community members feel safe and confident. It is hard work! There is a lot of commitment
required from department staff and city leaders responsible for institutionalizing community
policing. Organisational transformation means that police departments will have to restructure in a
way that accommodates the goals and vision of community policing. (Lawrence and McCarthy,
2013). Restructuring is demanding and it means a lot of patience as policies, training and
procedures all undergo changes. There is also the maintenance of meaningful community
partnerships. This maintenance would require the inclusion of missing voices, briefing and
education for stakeholders and shared responsibility amongst those involved for the outcomes.
Community policing is definitely a lot of maintenance and development and it consumes a

The Effects Of Carbon Dioxide On Our Oceans
Our oceans absorb almost twenty five percent, each year, of all the carbon dioxide that human
activity emits into the air. Scientists originally believed that the idea of our oceans absorbing extra
carbon dioxide that is in the air was a positive idea, because it would deter global warming. But,
they soon came to the realization that this absorption process was having similarly disastrous
effects, as global warmingdoes, and it what happening to our oceans. This phenomenon, of our
oceans taking in the excess carbon dioxidefrom the atmosphere, leads to ocean acidification; a
term used to describe how our oceans are becoming increasingly more acidic over time. However,
just in the past 200 years, ocean acidification has increased by thirty percent, and this number will
only continue to increase due to our current rate of industrialization.
Carbon dioxide is one of the major greenhouse gases, and is one of the most common gases found
in the earth s atmosphere. Carbon dioxide is released into the atmosphere in mass amounts by
human activities and then absorbed by our oceans. The main way that carbon dioxide is added to
the atmosphere is by the burning of fossil fuels and deforestation. Increased energy composition
and with the industrialization age, beginning in the 18th century, has led to a drastic spike in the
burning of fossil fuels and therefore the release of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. The main
emitters of carbon dioxide are cars, airplanes, and factories

The first sad clown to come about didn t even intend to be a sad clown. Charles Dickens wrote
Joseph Grimaldi s life story, which is what made people see him as sad. Grimaldi suffered from
depression after his first wife died during the birth of their son. When the son was thirty one
years old, he passed away because of alcoholism. During one of Grimaldi s slapstick routines, he
injured and permanently disabled himself. An infamous quote from Grimaldi says, I am grim all
day, but I make you laugh at night (Nadel). Charles Dickens wrote The Pickwick Papers in 1836
about a sad, alcoholic clown, a.k.a Grimaldi s son (Little). Another sad clown in the media would
include Weary Willie, a clown who painted on a frown in the twentieth century rather than the
traditional grin (Carlyon) A more modern day famous clown, called Puddles Pity Party, sings
songs and posts them on the website YouTube. Another sad clown named Pierrot came from the
Harlequin era. Pierrot s character has a sad, white painted face and he wears loose clothing along
with a small, french hat (Nadel). Even today, sad clowns exist. Most people believe that comedians
are funny to escape their sadness, and that their humor is a defense against anxiety and/or

A Brief Note On The Local Small Businesses
Have you ever considered counting how many local small businesses are there in your
community? Do you think that business would do way better if it could reach out further through a

products and services offered, what if these small businesshad the potential to upscale but the local
market wasn t great enough? Some of the best ran small businesses have websites that has given the
businessa great deal of benefits. Some of the benefits that help small businesses are that they help
gain credibility, save money, accessibility, wider range for target market, customer
service and,
convenience. I would like to start with one of the most influential effects a website has on a
business which is convenience. Convenience is a very influential factor, usually if a customer
can easily find your site you would see an increase in traffic on your site. Also, If your website is
more convenient than your competitors that will give you a huge advantage over them, while
spreading the name of your brand across the country rapidly. Another beneficial aspect of having
a website is it helps your business save more money. A website can help a business with money
from different angles. People automatically think that having a website could be costly, well not
necessarily it depends on how you utilize the tools given. Websites will be there all the time and is

As I stepped out of the car, the smell of the hot asphalt hit me. I heard the low rumble of voices and

Little boys with their favorite team plastered on their shirts ran past me, eager to enter the ballpark.
Nearing the ticket booth, the smell of popcorn wafted through the gates. This was the ultimate way

the very basic elements of laughter: lack of emotions, connection to human traits, relationship to

People laugh harder at his clumsiness when he screws his coworker s nose than when, during his
first break, he keeps the screwing movement without the wrenches. This scene serves crucial role
in the movie. It shows both sarcasm and humorous. The president is a representation of the upper

A similar example is the scene which Tramp wears skates and is being robbed when he is the night

Legal Rights Of The United Nations Essay
The most expected result of lack of ability to exercise one s legal rights would mean that one has
the rights but lacks the power to exercise them. Practically granting of rights is the law s
recognition of the validity of a person s choices. Legal rights give authority for people to act
within the framework of the legal system and makes a human being a subject of the law. Article
3 of the ICCPR mandates member states to promote the realization of the right to self
determination and to respect that right in conformity with the provisions of the Charter of the
United Nations. In Kenya the age of majority is 18 years and most people believe that upon
attaining the age of majority they will be able to make their own decisions which will be
respected. For most people adulthood automatically means the right to become a self determining
individual but this has not been so for women, who have been treated in the past as objects to be
managed as opposed to rightsholders with their own interests and desires.
The previous marriage laws that were in 2014 merged into one document which is the Marriage
Act 2014 had unfair provisions which tended to lean more towards the men. Under the Hindu
Marriage and Divorce Act, the notion of women not being free to make their own decisions comes

conditions are fulfilled;

Each country has its unique ways of communicate, act, think, or behave and managers should need
to identify and recognized these differences to bridge the gaps between cultures for real
communication to take place (Global Strategic Management, 1999). The language barrier is one of
the biggest obstacles PPQ Parts manager will have to face when doing business in international
markets. Language is one of the contexts in which the company should do adequate research before
entering a foreign market, especially when the foreign language is a different one. Keeping an open
mind and sensitivity to these differences can lead to better channels of communication and
understanding for both parties. Cultural issues are present in all aspects of global activities,
including selling to foreign customers, buying materials overseas, working with vendors, and
setting up operations. Other issue that the company may face is complying with foreign
government regulations and labor requirements. A company looking to set up manufacturing
facilities in a foreign country may also face difficulties in making an effective transfer of core
technologies, poorly trained local workers, financial restrictions, and a lack of inputs and supplies
that meet the necessary quality standards. It is necessary that PPQ Parts managers identify and
learn these regulations if they don t want the company to get involved in any

In the world of personal finances, credit cards play an important roles in lives of many people.
Sometimes, it s out of choice while other times it happens out of necessity. Regardless of why it

whether having or using credit cards is a sound financial decision.

In the case of credit cards, they can do irrevocable damage if not handled in the proper manner. If
you tend to be an impulse buyer, they provide access to buying power that might exceed what you
can actually afford to spend. After rolling up large debt balances, the monthly interest charges can
become financially debilitating, especially if you get in the habit of making minimum payments.
If you make late payments or miss a payment or two, your credit score is subject to a material hit,
which compromises your ability to secure credit in the future. Finally, the stress you might

Essay on Fine Arts Education Issues
Fine Arts Education Issues
According to the National Art Education Association s goals for schools, all elementary schools
shall require students to complete a sequential program of art instruction that integrates the study of
art production, aesthetics, art criticism, and art history, (Clark, 1987). Elementary schools are having
difficulty because they are cutting back on the fine arts programming and many non specialist
classroom teachers are expected to integrate the fine arts into their daily curriculum. Most of these
teachers feel inadequate and uncomfortable when teaching these subjects. The children are
receiving inadequate lessons in art education. All elementary schools should expand their curriculum

Will teachers have the money...more often than not, the answer is no, (Reardon, 1995). When
budget cuts are underway in school systems, the allotted amount of money for fine arts education
is the first to be reduced. Fine arts education should be considered a core subject in elementary
schools. All budgeting should be done so that all core areas receive an equal amount of money.
Because the fine arts are given a lower status than the traditional core subjects, schools fail to hire
licensed arts specialists. Schools then burden their classroom teachers by implementing poor
quality arts programs into their daily routines to fulfill certain art expectations. This not only
discourages and takes time away from classroom teachers, but also misrepresents the fine arts.
Even when a fine arts specialist is hired, they often are pushed into trying to teach other areas of
art than what they were hired for. In some cases, the requirements for becoming an arts specialist
are so relaxed that many communities don t believe that the fine arts should be taken very
seriously. Luckily, national reports are pushing for higher standards to become a fine arts specialist.
Impact on Students
It has been argued that the arts promote skills and abilities such as problem solving, teamwork, goal

India After Ww1
The question for this investigation is: How did WW1 affect India s social development with
Great Britain? India played a key part in World War One; however, their contribution to Great
Britain is severely overlooked. They began pushing towards a more self government approach and
this began impacting their relations with Britain. Expecting to be rewarded for their efforts, India
assisted Britain in the war by sending millions of volunteers to the Western Front; thus began their
alliance goals with them. Near the end of the war, they began realizing that self government they
pictured wasn t going to happen, so tensions began rising towards the Independence movement
with Mahatma Gandhi and the efforts towards Civil Disobedience. Sources in relevance were

Dr. Strangelove states quite boldly that man is not able to control the nuclear bomb (page 442

Kubrick s work reveals deeper evidence of the personal involvement which distinguishes the true
auteur. His develpment has been remarkably consistent through an apparently heterogeneous range
of projects, and each film s meaning becomes more confidently definable when one places it in
relation to its fellows (page 561 paragraph 2). A number of Kubrick s movies before Strangelove
are explicitly humanitarian , consciously dedicated to protest against inhumanity, and Strangelove
itself has been read similarly (page 561 paragraph 3). The much more polished work of Dr.
Strangelove which follows a strict scheme in which real time and cinematic time coincide,
analysing an intricate network of interconnecting operations without recourse to doubling back

How Hamilton Changed My Life
The award winning Broadway musical Hamilton has won over the hearts of numerous
Broadway regulars and non regulars alike. Written by Lin Manuel Miranda over six years ( How

reasons for this are clear if you have seen the musical live or listened to the soundtrack: the tunes
and lyrics are beautifully composed and very catchy. However, if you try to be perceptive, you may
find there are more enigmatic reasons as to why Hamilton became such a hit in a little amount of

Justice, Power, And Human Nature By Thucydides And The...
May the Best Man (or Woman) Win
In fifth century BC Greece, writers and philosophers were dedicating their entire lives to figuring
out the world around them; consequently, many distinct thoughts have been recorded regarding
overlapping concepts. For example, in the works, Antigone by Sophocles, On Justice, Power, and
Human Nature by Thucydides, and The Republic by Plato, there have been different accounts of
the definition and significance of justice. Each work is significant to western civilization
because it is applicable to the same society after all these years. The importance of justice takes
on different roles and can affect people in different ways. The best person in these works will be
the one who portrays justice in the most valuable way to the current society. That being said,
reading about Antigone and Creon showed how justice shaped their futures. The blurred lines of
who was in the right and who was in the wrong demonstrates that justice is subjective and affects
people different based on their own personal values. That is the best portrayal of justice among the
three works because it makes justice relatable and valid.
Sophocles Antigone is a Greek tragedy that transcends 5th century BC Greece due to its complex
analysis of justice and integrity. In the case of Antigone and Creon, it is not clear who in the end is
suffering from injustice. In Creon s defense, Antigone is the one committing unjust acts according
to Theban law. As the king of Thebes, it

The Great Hammerhead Shark Essay
Strategy is not easily defined and furthermore the term is not exclusively related to just the business
world. We can confidently say strategy is key to survival, not only in business but also in the animal
kingdom. All animals under go a process of constant change in their physical appearance and in
their behaviour. These changes take place over millions of years and the species that survive, do so
because throughout their evolution they have perfected certain strategies that have enabled them to
develop more successfully in the environment they inhabit. One such case of this successful
development is the great hammerhead shark.

(Society, 2014)
Great hammerheads primarily live in warm temperate and tropical coastal waters all around the
globe, far offshore and near shorelines in depths between 1 300 meters and have also been
observed entering estuarine water between latitudes 40 degrees N and 37 degrees S, down to a
depth of 80 metres. It positions itself as a top predator in its environment. It has no major
predators as it is widely feared in its habitat. Larger sharks will prey on juvenile and subadult great
hammerheads. (Wikipedia, 2014)
The great hammerheads migrate seasonally and are often seen in mass summer migrations moving
poleward seeking cooler water. They move back towards the equator over the winter months.
During the day they are often found near the shore in schools of up to one hundred. At night they
hunt further offshore, adults occur alone, in pairs or in small schools while young hammerheads
occur in larger schools. Great hammerheads are most common at seamounts, especially near the
Galapagos, Malpelo, Cocos and Revillagigedo Islands and within the Gulf of California.
Great hammerhead sharks appear to adapt well to their environments. One of their capabilities is
that they are opportunistic predators and are willing to eat anything they can get their hands on to
help them survive. Consequently, one concern would be the changes in temperature in the water.
The hammerhead does not seem to adapt well to the cooler waters.

Then you attack it (Garreau 28 30). Organizations such as DARPA and CAP strive to make

advanced, genetically engineered, human being. No one is capable of stopping him from
becoming a better meaningful species to society. Most Americans strive to build themselves up
to become the best they can be. Americans study the use of DNA manipulation in bodies and
cells to help fight off diseases and illnesses such as the common cold or flu. Goldblatt proclaims,
We do not fear the unknown, and we relish exploring the unknowable (Garreau 19). Americans

DARPA is studying a vaccine that will help in pain management. Such vaccines will make

Essentially the change it made was number three in the listing detailed in section 10.6 of our text it
changed the configuration of factories, warehouses, or retail locations. When work usually
performed internally, is delegated to another firm, the company is said to outsource the work. Such
is the case in the construction of the Boeing 787. The companies involved include Messier
Bughatti of France, Rolls Royce of the UK, Alenia Aeronatuica of Italy, Mitsubishi Heavy
Industries of Japan and Chjengdu Aircraft Group of China. This outsourcing decision means that
85% of the construction of this aircraft is supplied by strategic supply partners of Boeing. Those
parts are eventually shipped to the Boeing plant in Washington by road, rail, sea and plane for final
assembly of the Dreamliner.
There are several other ways to make supply chain improvements. One of those ways includes the
pursuit of major process simplification. This is used to improve supply chains when the processes
have become so complex or so out of date that they are no longer cost efficient or no longer
effective to maintain. It is said that a clean slate approach is taken when the new processes are
designed from scratch without any consideration of the former process methods. This overhaul

How Did Abraham Lincoln s Influence On Religion
Introduction
Abraham Lincoln has been remembered, both in his own lifetime and thereafter, by the nickname,
Honest Abe. His characteristic trustworthiness, nevertheless, has not necessarily permitted
historians to easily interpret all aspects of his personal life and political career. One such topic that
has been somewhat shrouded in mystery is Abraham Lincoln s religious views. The prolific
American theologian, Reinhold Neibuhr once referred to Lincoln as unquestionably our most
religious president, who was superior in depth and purity to those, not only of the political leaders
of the day, but of the religious leaders of the era. [i] On the other hand, a contemporary of Lincoln,
William Herndon, attempted to combat the idea that Abraham Lincoln changed his views about
believing in a personal God by dismissing the existence of any evidence for such a claim.[ii]
However, Wayne C. Temple s more recent tome, Abraham Lincoln: From Skeptic to Prophet, has
compiled scores of evidence to outline the religious views of Abraham, which were by no means

Lincoln had moved away from the naturalistic Doctrine of Necessity for several years, and at the
beginning of his presidency his view of providence might be best understood by the phrase, divine
assistance. In other words, God was available to intervene in the affairs of mankind, contrasting
with the impersonal Doctrine of Necessity, but the relationship between Creator and created was
not quite Calvinistic in the sense that the world is to be seen as God s glorious theatre where God s
will surpasses man s plans.[xxvi] Nicholas Parillo substantiates this claim by stating, Literary
analysis reveals that, even though Lincoln always subscribed to the same technical definition of
providence, the role that this concept played in his rhetoric underwent a gradual but dramatic
change during his presidency. [xxvii] Lincoln, in his acceptance letter for the Republican

Tasmanian Tiger Research Paper
THE TASMANIAN TIGER (Thylacinus cynocephalus)
On April 25,1857 I Riley J Petersen found a species man has never seen before. I was off the coast
of Australia, on an island called Tasmania. At first I thought I had stumbled across a pack of wild
dogs, but as I got closer I realized that these are no dog.
Description
The species seems to be dog but it had the stripes of a tiger on its rear end. Picture a animal with the
body of a large dog with a stiff rodent like tail. The head of a wolf, the pouch of a kangaroo, and
black stripes like a tiger. This creature is about six feet long and seems vicious. I believe that this
species is harmless when it first noticed me it just ran away like
a scared little girl. This creature has yellowish fur. I have named this species the Tasmanian Tiger or
Thylacinus cynocephalus. The height of the Tasmanian Tiger is about 24 inches tall. The part about
my discovery of this animal is that

The eucalyptus trees provide shelter and food for many animals in the eucalyptus forest habitat.
One abiotic factors in the eucalyptus forest are the soil. The soil is a crucial part of this
environment because without suitable soil the eucalyptus trees would not have enough nutrients to
grow into giant healthy trees. Another abiotic factor in this environment is the logs and caves in
the area. Also the water in the area is an important part for the survival of any animal.biotic factor

Arguments Against Family Law
Family Law is an area of law that covers a wide spectrum. From amiable prenuptial agreements to
bitterly contested custody battles, Family Law has something for everyone.
I believe that a good paralegal in a practice that specializes in divorce would need to be a people
person who has excellent communication skills. She may need to help the attorney put the client at
ease while still maintaining a sense of strength for an emotionally and I or physically abused client.
For example, a meeting with an attorney and a paralegal might be the first concrete step an abused
wife takes in actively resisting her husband. This may be the first time she tries to obtain help from
a third party and she would need someone who would not judge her for not ... Show more content

An attorney and the paralegal should be seen as being fair and equitable concerning the division of
those important days when they are trying to help the parents
reach a compromise. A skilled legal team needs to be able to help the parents communicate and
reach reasonable arrangements that are in the best interest of the children as opposed to what will
irritate the non custodial parent the most.
Division of marital assets is emotionally charged as well. If the home is awarded to the wife but
she can only afford to keep it if the husband continues making his child support and alimony
payments, she would have the added stress of possibly losing the home if he chooses to
discontinue his payments. She would then have to try to work out some kind of refinancing or sell
the home. Once again she might need the support of her legal team to help her maneuver through
the choppy waters of possibly having to uproot her children from the only home they have ever
known.
These are only a few of the areas in which a paralegal and her attorney would need good
communication skills. They would also need the ability to zealously defend their client as she
works her way through the beginnings of the next stage of her life and that of her

on September 14, 1901 in Buffalo New York. McKinley was the third president to be
assassinated. II. McKinley ran for the Presidency from Ohio. III. McKinley had a relatively easy
and normal childhood. He was the seventh child of eight. His parents were loving people who
instilled in McKinley the importance of hard work, religion, and education. McKinley worked
very hard in school as a youth and then attended Alleghany College in Pennsylvania for one term,
until he had to leave for financial reasons. During the Civil War, he proved to be an excellent
soldier and quickly moved up the ranks to the position of Brevet Major. Like many presidents...

XI. Holden v Hardy was a major case during McKinley s time that dealt with the labor movement,
but in a specific arena. This case upheld a law limiting the work day of a group of miners in
Utah, because it was proven that the conditions they were working under were dangerous.
Although, it was only one victory, a victory it was for the labor movement. In 1898, Williams v
Mississippi, upheld the Mississippi plan, which set a literacy test and poll taxes for Mississippi
voters. Though this plan essentially excluded many Blacks and poor whites, since it applied to
everyone, it was found constitutional and allowed to continue. XII. President McKinley dealt with
several important foreign policy issues during his term. One of the biggest was the Spanish
American War in 1898. This war initially started when McKinley sent ships and soldiers to have
Cubans in their revolt against a tyrannical Spanish Government. After an American ship was sunk
in the conflict, many Americans called for war against Spain, and McKinley obliged. In the Treaty
of Paris, a result of America winning the short war, the United States gained the territories Puerto
Rico and Guam, bought the Philippines, and remained in military control over Cuba, to which
Spain renounced its claims. In

Compare And Contrast Qin And Han Dynasty
After the Warring States Period, there were two major dynasties; the Qin and the Han. The Qin
dynasty ruled first and created many policies that were adopted and abandoned by the second
rulers, the Han dynasty.
One policy that was implemented from the Qin, by the Han was standardization. Shi Huangdi, the
ruler during the Qin dynasty, implemented the idea of standardization and executed his plans for
standardization in an orderly fashion. Huangdi standardized the following throughout China; the
Chinese language, the weights and measurements used, the currency of China, and the axes on
transportation or motor vehicles. The Han dynasty adopted this policy because the standards were

IN the Qin dynasty, Shi Huangdi created a centralized government since the rulers before, the
Zhou dynasty, had been rebelled against because their government structure was a mess. For
example, the Zhou did not have a good connection with their outer cities and the Zhou
government leaders did not know what was going on in their society. Shi Huangdi created
provinces, which was divided into counties, and there were heads of the provinces who reported
to the emperor about what was going on within their province. In the counties there was a head
too. The head of the county reported to the head of the province. The Han adopted this because
it created a strong government and worked for the Qin dynasty. Both the Qin and Han did not
want to be overthrown like the Zhou dynasty was. A last policy that was adopted by the Han was
that of, expanding the territory. Shi Huangdi performed the act of expanding territory and pushed
his borders out to the Yellow/Huang River. Shi Huangdi grew his territory because he had a
growing population with overcrowded cities. The Han dynasty decided to adopted this policy
because the Qin s land was spacious and this way they were able grow more fruits, veggies, and

Black Social, Intellectual, And Political Boundaries
Pan Africanism signifies the difficulties of black social, intellectual, and political notions over a
two hundred year span. What establishes Pan Africanism, on the basic level, is the unity of Africans
worldwide. Pan Africanists believe that the African people in its entirety, which includes the
Diaspora and the African continent, does not just share common beginnings but also a common
destiny. (Asante, 1976, p. 97) This ideology of an intertwined past and future of all the African
people has however took many forms, as different thinkers feel that there are different methods in
achieving African unity. Three great thinkers, W.E.B. Dubois, Marcus Garvey
, and Malcolm X,
were all leaders of their own Pan African movement which each contained their own element in
achieving Pan Africanism. DuBois took a more academic stance which included the utilization of
the elites, whereas Garvey and Malcolm X were more so grassroots organizers as they believed in
the bottom up decision making rather than top down.
To commence, Dr. William Edward Burghardt DuBois, better known as W.E.B. Dubois, is
acknowledged as the Father of Pan Africanism. (Esedebe, 1971, p. 84) One of DuBois first
movement towards Pan Africanism was his idea of the Talented Tenth. He felt that in order to save
the Negro race it must be done by exceptional men. (Franklin, 2011, p. 301) Dubois believed that
the development of the Negro race must be done through college education. This involved writing
books,

Elmer Driedger s Argument Analysis
In the words of Elmer Driedger (as cited in Boyd, 2015), the words of an Act are to be read in
their entire context in their grammatical sense harmoniously with the scheme of the Act, the
object of the Act and the intention of Parliament (p. 65). This approach advocates analysis which
balances the literal language used with the context of the statute and its intended purpose. This
paper will assess the strength Driedger s approach in relation to the cases R. v. Boudreault, Paldi
Khalsa Diwan Society v. Cowichan Valley (Regional District), and R. v. Skakun. It will be argued
that Driedger s approach is advantageous to the courts in general, but insofar as it is combined
with the principle of stare decisis, it is beneficial only when the judgments in precedent setting
cases accord with fundamental justice. Driedger s approach stresses that the language of a statute
can be insufficient to determine the full intent of the legislature, and so in these cases use of
external sources may be necessary... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Cowichan Valley (Regional District) (2014), the appellants sought to have the decision ruling that a
commercially owned crematorium was an impermissible use of the land according to a Cowichan
Valley bylaw reversed (para. 1). According to the bylaw, the land could only be used by the
crematorium if it was an institution (para. 18). Prior to the appeal, the chambers judge had found
that crematoriums did not fit the given definition of institution, which had explicitly included
cemeteries (para. 20). In the Court of Appeal, however, it was determined that the definition
contained the word includes to allow for other institutions comparable to those listed. In virtue of
this, a crematorium serves a purpose similar to a cemetery for dealing with human remains (para.
43). The objection to the commercial use of the crematorium was also dismissed, given that the
definition also listed institutions which operate for profit (para.

Roxanne Jones s Article, Listen Children, Not Everyone Is...
Trophies for Participation
Roxanne Jones created an article called, Listen kids, not everyone is a winner . In this editorial,
Jones began the topic of children getting trophies for doing well and participating in activities. She
discussed that she does not support the idea of a child receiving awards for participation.
Throughout the article, she made valid points toward her argument against giving children awards,
in turn that made me agree with her. There are many reasons as to why children should not be given
trophies for participation.
The first reason why children should not be given trophies, is that they will not be ready for the
harsh reality of the world. They will think everything will be handed to them if they just participate
in an activity. In the future, they won t work hard enough to earn awards, because they will think
they can get by with little effort. Their work in the future will lack quality and quantity, since their
thinking has been corrupted in turn making them feel they can get praise without doing the
required work thoroughly and exquisitely. James Harrison agrees with this message, as in the
article he made a statement saying, I m sorry I m not sorry for believing that everything in ... Show

In life there is a competition happening for who gets what job, and your best won t be good
enough. You have to fight in order to get praise and awards, otherwise it s just pointless when
someone does a terrible job and yet still receives a trophy. You need to work above your best and
go to your excellence to get what you want and not do the minimal work that is necessary in a
project. Life is full of wins and losses, and if children aren t aware of this sooner in life, they aren
t going to be prepared for reality. Jones acknowledges this in her article by saying, You learn that

Essay On Decision Making
Caused by a controlled release of water, a boat rescue of one family in the neighborhood close to
the Barker reservoir found a distraught mother who made this statement: They have to do what
they had to do. Accordingly, managers use six steps to decision making to affect organizational
performance. Fundamentally, these six steps are especially critical as these decisions will affect
human lives. In Texas, August 2017, hurricane Harvey became a life threatening, catastrophic
event as it dropped more than 30 inches of rain, as well as, forceful winds on the city of Houston
and surrounding coastal towns, within three days. So, this rare event presented a challenge for the
Army Corps of Engineers as the flooding caused structural... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

C.Do nothing and hope the dams do not break. However, this alternative will have devastating
effects on millions of Texans who are not already living within floodravaged areas.
4.Among all the alternatives, I chose option B; a controlled release of water from the Barker and
Addicks dams to prevent flooding in the city of Houston and surrounding areas.
5.Implementing this plan requires that all people evacuate the areas affected by the release of
water from the levees, then, direct the controlled release towards those areas that are already
flooded.
6.Establish a procedure for feedback from within and outside of the organization, including;
management, employees, local and federal officials, and residents. This procedure will include the
following important steps:
Compare what actually happened to what was expected to happen as a result of the decision.
Explore why any expectations for the decision were not met.
Derive guidelines that will help in future decision making. (George Jones, 2017, p. 174)
In the end, this decision making process is one that places loss of life at the forefront of the most
important factors to consider. Ultimately, rather than riska devastating dam break in the middle of
hurricane Harvey, the best alternative is to make a controlled release of water. Thus, after
generating possible alternatives, as well as, assessing each one for legal, ethical, economical, and
practical feasibility, I came

From Outrage By Anne Murray Summary Anne Murray states that, Women s health is so much more than medical issues; it is cultural, political, economic, and above all, an issue of social justice (From Outrage to Courage, 2008, p.1). Women s health is an issue of social justice in a sense that fairness and equality should be primordial in the health care system. Social justice aims to support the wellbeing of all individuals regardless of differences. Unfortunately, little has been done to promote and improve women s health. An analysis of social and economic circumstances that affect women s health in development reveals that: inequality in health care in terms of poor health and poverty affect the health of women. Going back to the olden days and basing my analysis on women as healers, Witches, Midwives, and Nurses by English and Ehrenreich tells us women s story as health workers and denounce the history of suppression. Women have always been healers. Even though they were not licensed with medical degrees, women were nurses and pharmacists. Today, however, the health care system is a male dominated industry. Because it has become the property of male professionals, many issues are affecting women and their children. For instance, according to Murray, female infants and children s access to food and/ or medical care has been neglected because researchers either view the household as a single entity with uniform internal distribution or treat newborns as a sex neutral category. This demonstrates that little attention; research and financial support are given to expand the wellbeing of women and their children. Scientists originally believed that the idea of our oceans absorbing extra carbon dioxide that is in the air was a positive idea, because it would deter global warming. But, they soon came to the realization that this absorption process was having similarly disastrous effects, as global warmingdoes, and it what happening to our oceans. This phenomenon, of our oceans taking in the excess carbon dioxidefrom the atmosphere, leads to ocean acidification; a term used to describe how our oceans are becoming increasingly more acidic over time. However, just in the past 200 years, ocean acidification has increased by thirty percent, and this number will only continue to increase due to our current rate of industrialization. Carbon dioxide is one of the major greenhouse gases, and is one of the most common gases found in the earth s atmosphere. Carbon dioxide is released into the atmosphere in mass amounts by human activities and then absorbed by our oceans. The main way that carbon dioxide is added to the atmosphere is by the burning of fossil fuels and deforestation. Mothers were hustling their children toward the stadium. Little boys with their favorite team plastered on their shirts ran past me, eager to enter the ballpark. Nearing the ticket booth, the smell of popcorn wafted through the gates. This was the ultimate way to spend a summer night, at a baseballgame. After paying our way to get in, my dad and I found our seats. It was my birthday and my father had a special treat in store. He had gotten us front row seats, a very rare occasion for me. Son! • 20. Legal Rights Of The United Nations Essay The most expected result of lack of ability to exercise one s legal rights would mean that one has the rights but lacks the power to exercise them. Practically granting of rights is the law s recognition of the validity of a person s choices. Legal rights give authority for people to act within the framework of the legal system and makes a human being a subject of the law. Article 3 of the ICCPR mandates member states to promote the realization of the right to self determination and to respect that right in conformity with the provisions of the Charter of the United Nations. In Kenya the age of majority is 18 years and most people believe that upon attaining the age of majority they will be able to make their own decisions which will be respected. For most people adulthood automatically means the right to become a self determining individual but this has not been so for women, who have been treated in the past as objects to be managed as opposed to rightsholders with their own interests and desires. The previous marriage laws that were in 2014 merged into one document which is the Marriage Act 2014 had unfair provisions which tended to lean more towards the men. Under the Hindu Marriage and Divorce Act, the notion of women not being free to make their own decisions comes out where it is stated under section 3 of the Act that a marriage may be solemnized if the following conditions are fulfilled; (c) The bridegroom has attained the age of 18 years old and the bride the ... Elementary schools are having difficulty because they are cutting back on the fine arts programming and many non specialist classroom teachers are expected to integrate the fine arts into their daily curriculum. When budget cuts are underway in school systems, the allotted amount of money for fine arts education is the first to be reduced. Fine arts education should be considered a core subject in elementary schools. All budgeting should be done so that all core areas receive an equal amount of money. Because the fine arts are given a lower status than the traditional core subjects, schools fail to hire licensed arts specialists. Schools then burden their classroom teachers by implementing poor quality arts programs into their daily routines to fulfill certain art expectations. This not only discourages and takes time away from classroom teachers, but also misrepresents the fine arts. Even when a fine arts specialist is hired, they often are pushed into trying to teach other areas of art than what they were hired for. In some cases, the requirements for becoming an arts specialist are so relaxed that many communities don t believe that the fine arts should be taken very seriously. Expecting to be rewarded for their efforts, India assisted Britain in the war by sending millions of volunteers to the Western Front; thus began their alliance goals with them. May the Best Man (or Woman) Win In fifth century BC Greece, writers and philosophers were dedicating their entire lives to figuring out the world around them; consequently, many distinct thoughts have been recorded regarding overlapping concepts. For example, in the works, Antigone by Sophocles, On Justice, Power, and Human Nature by Thucydides, and The Republic by Plato, there have been different accounts of the definition and significance of justice. Each work is significant to western civilization because it is applicable to the same society after all these years. The importance of justice takes on different roles and can affect people in different ways. The best person in these works will be the one who portrays justice in the most valuable way to the current society. That being said, reading about Antigone and Creon showed how justice shaped their futures. The blurred lines of who was in the right and who was in the wrong demonstrates that justice is subjective and affects people different based on their own personal values. That is the best portrayal of justice among the three works because it makes justice relatable and valid. Sophocles Antigone is a Greek tragedy that transcends 5th century BC Greece due to its complex analysis of justice and integrity. When work usually performed internally, is delegated to another firm, the company is said to outsource the work. Such is the case in the construction of the Boeing 787. The companies involved include Messier Bughatti of France, Rolls Royce of the UK, Alenia Aeronatuica of Italy, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries of Japan and Chjengdu Aircraft Group of China. This outsourcing decision means that 85% of the construction of this aircraft is supplied by strategic supply partners of Boeing. Those parts are eventually shipped to the Boeing plant in Washington by road, rail, sea and plane for final assembly of the Dreamliner. There are several other ways to make supply chain improvements. One of those ways includes the pursuit of major process simplification. This is used to improve supply chains when the processes have become so complex or so out of date that they are no longer cost efficient or no longer effective to maintain. It is said that a clean slate approach is taken when the new processes are designed from scratch without any consideration of the former process methods. • 38. How Did Abraham Lincoln s Influence On Religion Introduction Abraham Lincoln has been remembered, both in his own lifetime and thereafter, by the nickname, Honest Abe. His characteristic trustworthiness, nevertheless, has not necessarily permitted historians to easily interpret all aspects of his personal life and political career. One such topic that has been somewhat shrouded in mystery is Abraham Lincoln s religious views. The prolific American theologian, Reinhold Neibuhr once referred to Lincoln as unquestionably our most religious president, who was superior in depth and purity to those, not only of the political leaders of the day, but of the religious leaders of the era. [i] On the other hand, a contemporary of Lincoln, William Herndon, attempted to combat the idea that Abraham Lincoln changed his views about believing in a personal God by dismissing the existence of any evidence for such a claim.[ii] However, Wayne C. Temple s more recent tome, Abraham Lincoln: From Skeptic to Prophet, has compiled scores of evidence to outline the religious views of Abraham, which were by no means static throughout ... Lincoln had moved away from the naturalistic Doctrine of Necessity for several years, and at the beginning of his presidency his view of providence might be best understood by the phrase, divine assistance. In other words, God was available to intervene in the affairs of mankind, contrasting with the impersonal Doctrine of Necessity, but the relationship between Creator and created was not quite Calvinistic in the sense that the world is to be seen as God s glorious theatre where God s will surpasses man s plans.[xxvi] Nicholas Parillo substantiates this claim by stating, Literary analysis reveals that, even though Lincoln always subscribed to the same technical definition of providence, the role that this concept played in his rhetoric underwent a gradual but dramatic change during his presidency. I was off the coast of Australia, on an island called Tasmania. At first I thought I had stumbled across a pack of wild dogs, but as I got closer I realized that these are no dog. Description The species seems to be dog but it had the stripes of a tiger on its rear end. Picture a animal with the body of a large dog with a stiff rodent like tail. The head of a wolf, the pouch of a kangaroo, and black stripes like a tiger. This creature is about six feet long and seems vicious. I believe that this species is harmless when it first noticed me it just ran away like a scared little girl. This creature has yellowish fur. An attorney and the paralegal should be seen as being fair and equitable concerning the division of those important days when they are trying to help the parents reach a compromise. Division of marital assets is emotionally charged as well. If the home is awarded to the wife but she can only afford to keep it if the husband continues making his child support and alimony payments, she would have the added stress of possibly losing the home if he chooses to discontinue his payments. She would then have to try to work out some kind of refinancing or sell the home. Once again she might need the support of her legal team to help her maneuver through the choppy waters of possibly having to uproot her children from the only home they have ever known. • 46. Black Social, Intellectual, And Political Boundaries Pan Africanism signifies the difficulties of black social, intellectual, and political notions over a two hundred year span. What establishes Pan Africanism, on the basic level, is the unity of Africans worldwide. Pan Africanists believe that the African people in its entirety, which includes the Diaspora and the African continent, does not just share common beginnings but also a common destiny. (Asante, 1976, p. 97) This ideology of an intertwined past and future of all the African people has however took many forms, as different thinkers feel that there are different methods in achieving African unity. Three great thinkers, W.E.B. Dubois, Marcus Garvey , and Malcolm X, were all leaders of their own Pan African movement which each contained their own element in achieving Pan Africanism. DuBois took a more academic stance which included the utilization of the elites, whereas Garvey and Malcolm X were more so grassroots organizers as they believed in the bottom up decision making rather than top down. To commence, Dr. William Edward Burghardt DuBois, better known as W.E.B. Dubois, is acknowledged as the Father of Pan Africanism. (Esedebe, 1971, p. 84) One of DuBois first movement towards Pan Africanism was his idea of the Talented Tenth. He felt that in order to save the Negro race it must be done by exceptional men. • 48. Elmer Driedger s Argument Analysis In the words of Elmer Driedger (as cited in Boyd, 2015), the words of an Act are to be read in their entire context in their grammatical sense harmoniously with the scheme of the Act, the object of the Act and the intention of Parliament (p. 65). This approach advocates analysis which balances the literal language used with the context of the statute and its intended purpose. This paper will assess the strength Driedger s approach in relation to the cases R. v. Boudreault, Paldi Khalsa Diwan Society v. Cowichan Valley (Regional District), and R. v. Skakun. It will be argued that Driedger s approach is advantageous to the courts in general, but insofar as it is combined with the principle of stare decisis, it is beneficial only when the judgments in precedent setting cases accord with fundamental justice. Driedger s approach stresses that the language of a statute can be insufficient to determine the full intent of the legislature, and so in these cases use of external sources may be necessary... Prior to the appeal, the chambers judge had found that crematoriums did not fit the given definition of institution, which had explicitly included cemeteries (para. 20). In the Court of Appeal, however, it was determined that the definition contained the word includes to allow for other institutions comparable to those listed. In virtue of this, a crematorium serves a purpose similar to a cemetery for dealing with human remains (para. 43). In this editorial, Jones began the topic of children getting trophies for doing well and participating in activities. She discussed that she does not support the idea of a child receiving awards for participation. Throughout the article, she made valid points toward her argument against giving children awards, in turn that made me agree with her. There are many reasons as to why children should not be given trophies for participation. The first reason why children should not be given trophies, is that they will not be ready for the harsh reality of the world. They will think everything will be handed to them if they just participate in an activity. In the future, they won t work hard enough to earn awards, because they will think they can get by with little effort. Their work in the future will lack quality and quantity, since their thinking has been corrupted in turn making them feel they can get praise without doing the required work thoroughly and exquisitely. Accordingly, managers use six steps to decision making to affect organizational performance. Fundamentally, these six steps are especially critical as these decisions will affect human lives. This procedure will include the following important steps: Compare what actually happened to what was expected to happen as a result of the decision. Explore why any expectations for the decision were not met. Derive guidelines that will help in future decision making. (George Jones, 2017, p. 174) In the end, this decision making process is one that places loss of life at the forefront of the most important factors to consider.
