Privileges are things that a person receives that gives them an advantage over most
people (Merriam Webster). These are benefits that only certain people receive for
being in a certain group or discourse. Peggy McIntosh, director of the Wellesley

stories about the experience of these Holocaust survivors during the horrors of the

the C N P S stoichiometry of SOM , is important to shedding light on the nature of
nutrient limitation in terrestrial ecosystems. Furthermore, it has applications to the

agriculture and to the reduction of negative impacts from human intervention (FAO).

lengthy narratives he divided his barks into schematic panels. Maymuru s paintings
are best known for their complex meaning and symbolism in which he used motifs
such as crosses to represent his ancestors stories and connection to land. Maymuru
saw art as a method to communicate ideas and knowledge to an audience outside his
community so to widen understanding of Yolngu culture and to also educate the
younger generations of Yolngu (The Yolngu are the indigenous Australian in North
Eastern Arnhem Land). In this way, Maymuru was ensuring the continuity of Yolngu
ancestral law through his artworks. Furthermore, the subject matter of Nyapililngu
Ancestors at Djarrakpi is typical of traditional indigenous artworks, as Maymuru
depicts the spiritual landscape of his homeland Djarrakpi, the Manggalili clan domain
