God in the history and global traditions. It is to say that there are some elements
and aspects of contradiction and academic difference regarding the omnipotence,
goodness, and might of God. A practical case and instance are the Bible in 1st
Samuel chapter 15 where God orders Saul to kill everything in the land of the
Amalekites. The express instructions required Saul, the king to kill everything
from men, women, children and the livestock. However, when Saul spared the

the perspective of the enemy . A main idea of the film was to focus on the idea that
there was good and evil on both sides. And although there were different concepts
between Americans and Japanese soldiers, we are all human and share aspects in
common. Clint Eastwood, the director, draws interest from both American and
Japanese audiences by creating the film to be from the Japanese point of view. He
does this because he is an American filmmaker, which will automatically intrigue
American viewers. He draws Japanese audiences, because the film is entirely from
their point of view. Eastwood even uses real Japanese actors instead of Asian
American actors. This creates a more authentic feel, because they were speaking in

significant loss, and still recover immediately after and in the future? D Day took a
big toll on the population of Bedford, Virginia on June 6, 1944. The events of D Day
still influence this small community today. Germany invaded northwestern France in
1940; however, the Americans entered the war in December 1942 and formed an
alliance with Britain. Adolf Hitler was aware of the threats of invasion and put
Erwin Rommel in charge of defense operations (History.com). In January of 1944,
General Dwight Eisenhower became commander of Operation Overlord. Since
Britain and America were Allies, they used the alliance to deceive the Germans. They
made the Germans think they were attacking Pas de Calais instead, they attacked
Normandy. They also made the Germans think that Norway, as well as other
locations, were potential targets (History.com). The Allies used many tactics to help
with the deception, like fake equipment, a phantom army, and fraudulent radios. June

looking at the Ideas of the short piece and how it was created, one of the most
noticeable things is the revealing of the plot. Just by looking at the title you have an
idea that the short piece will be about the relationship between the father and with
Jimi Hendrix. Alexie reveals in the information in a chronological order as well as

Alexie draws in the reader by first telling a short story about her father back in the
1970 s. Alexie then goes on in briefly telling the reader what prison was like for
their father. Eventually moving on to how the father met the mother and the
relationship they father and mother had. This is an interesting take on the way a
child views their father and mother and how the father has craved freedom. The
fluidity of this short piece is excellent, it is not choppy and it gives just enough
detail without dragging the story out. It also helps that this piece is an easy read.
One of the things that I enjoyed from the piece was the comparison to how Indians
