Conventional electric
power plants
They produce most of the energy that we use.
Types:
●   Nuclear power plants.
●   Fossil fuel thermal power plants.
●   Hydroelectric power plants.
Nuclear power plants

●They break down the fuel and it produces large
amounts of heat this heat is used to produce a
high pressure stream that moves the
turbines, this turbines are connected to a
generator that produces electricity.
●   Main fuel: Uranium.
●    Advantages:high return on their energy
     production.
Fossil fuel thermal power
plants
●   In this type of power   ●   They usually burn

    blades which generate electricity thanks to a
    transformation center at the bottom of the
    tower where the blades are.
●   Wind farms can only be installed in places with
    good wind conditions
●   A wind power plant produces between 1MW
    and 10MW

       ●   They use the energy from the sun to produce
           electricity

From wind to water
 Eole water,the French research companyhas created a new
  air rotor which can convert the whater steam in the air into
  drinking water.
 The air enters into the turbine and goes into an electric
  cooling compressor which condense the water in the air.
 One turbine can produce up to
1,000 liters of water every day
