This document provides instructions for enabling remote desktop connection on Windows 7 64-bit. It describes opening system properties and navigating to the remote tab to allow connections from any version of Remote Desktop. It then explains how to launch the remote desktop connection program by searching for mstsc, entering the IP address of the remote computer, and logging in with username and password to access the remote desktop.

1. Right click on My Computer and click on properties

3. Select Remote Tab and under Remote Desktop select middle option ( Allow connections from
computers running any version of Remote Desktop ).

Connecting to the Remote System
1. Click on start and Type mstsc in search

2. click on mstsc.exe , a remote desktop connection window will open now.
3. Type the IP address of the computer you want to connect and click on connect

4. Give the user name and password of that computer and click on ok
5. click yes

Now you are connected to the remote desktop.
