This document provides a 28 step process to remove the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) Ukash virus from an infected Windows XP computer. The steps involve starting the computer in safe mode, using various browser commands to download and run anti-malware tools Rkill and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware to identify and remove the virus, then restarting the computer.

Now power down the XP
Antispyware 2013 infected
computer and wait for 30
Seconds before you turn on.

4. Step: 3
Press f8 key continuously

5. Step 4:
Select safe mode with networking

6. Step : 5
Press windows + R

7. Step : 6
Type iexlore.exe and hit on OK

8. Step : 7
Select tools ->Internet options

9. Step : 8
Click on LAN Settings

10. Step : 9
Keep the box proxy server uncheck
and click on OK

Now hit the OK button to
close the LOCAL AREA
NETWORK dialog box. Then
press the OK button to close
the INTERNET OPTIONS
dialog box.

Press windows + R

Type
iexplore.exe http://www.fixpcyourself.com/rkill.com
and click on OK

Save the Rkill.exe on your desktop.
Double-click the Rkill icon and run
Rkill.exe. You will see a black MS
DOS dialog box. Now it will kill all
the processes of XP Antispyware
2013. It will take several minute
before a Notepad file containing log
information on what Rkill found
will open. You may review it and
close notepad file.
