1. 21.05.2023/ DAY 1
I woke up early washed my face, brushed my theeth and did my skin care, then I got dressed and my
dad drove me and my mom to the bus station, Havaş. I saw my friends there. I hugged my mom and
dad, then we rode the bus. I sat next to my friend, Melek, we took photos and listened to music
during the trip to the airport. It was fun at first but it got so boring after a few hours. I was so excited
when we were at the airport. We got into a cafe and I ordered hot chocolate there. After a few hours
we were on board. I sat by the window, it was so cool when we landed in İstanbul. We landed so
hard, I felt like we were flying. We went to shops and cafes but everything was so expensive. We
ordered 3 milkshakes and everyone drank it in one cup it was so fun and strange, a few hours later
we got into the airliner and I slept all the time. We landed Skopje and a man took us from there and
drove us to our hote.l He was so kind but I forgot his name…We rested for a little and went to
shopping mall. We ate hamburger there, exploring the mall was fun!!
22.05.2023 DAY 2
We woke up, ate cereal with my friends and went to school. I met other groups they were older than
us except Polish delegetaion. They prepared a Show for us, we watched it.It was fun observing new
cultures. I met a girl named Isidora who was my bestfriend there. She was so kind and funny. I miss
her a lot… Then a boy name Nicola i guess?? showed us the school. Little children there gave us
presents. I met a girl named Lana and she was speaking perfect English like a pro! She was also super
cute! After spending more time in school, we left for lunch and ate chicken in a restaurant, it was a
great day!

2. 23.05.2023/ DAY 3
We went to Skopje City Center. It has so many statues and all of them were so cool, but citizens don’t
like some of the statues beacuse of political things. After that we went to Turkish Bazaar. It was cool
seeing my culture in other countries. We went to a museum and then we took a lot of pictures with
the statues! We went to school and went back to bazaar again to explore it freely. We ate tiramisu
on that night and went back to our hotel again…
24.05.2023/ DAY 4
We went to Ohrid which was my favorite. We went to a historical theatre that had a great history
behind it. I rode the boat with my Polish friends. Isat next to my Polish friend Konchem.. Kornelia??
she was so funny and cool, I miss her a lot!!! It was so fun being in the boat but suddenly it started
rain and I was freezinggggg. We thankfully got out of the boat and runned under a tree to escape
from the rain and one more thankfully I had my umbrella with me. We went to shopping and bought
lots of necklaces. The woman there was so kind and she even gave me a present!! We went to eat
pizza and drink coffe, we also went to a museum and took so cool photos there. This day could be my
fav day hehe. Also that night we went to Polish groups room and played cards, it was so funn!!

4. 25.05.2023 DAY 5
We went to Prilep which was my least favourite beacuse it had no cool shops or statues etc. We
asked questions to the people on the way and wrote their answers on a sheet and the name of our
group was Shining Stars. It was fun being in Shining Stars team. I had my friends there and my
teacher met with her old friend. We went to a restaurant and ate pasta. Then we expolered around
and went to a cafe. Melek called a friend from school and we talked a little bit. That night Polish
group came to our room, we served them Turkish snacks, coffee, chips,cola,different types of Turkish
delights and layed card games which was so fun. When they were about to leave, we started giving
them delight beacuse as a Turk, we love guests so much haha they didn’t wanted to eat the delight
and we started chasing them with it around till they got into their room that night. We ate the
leftover chips and did some gossip for hours, it was so fun!!
26.05.2023/DAY 6
We went to Matka to ride boats and see the butterflies. I learned that Matka has 77 different
butterfly types, it was fun riding the boats of course I rode the boat with my Polish friend. We went
to a cave, it was so cool and magical looking after that we went to our otel room and went to Polish
group’s room to say goodbye. I hugged them and gave them bracelets so they can always remember
me…(fun fact: I always offered them cologne in the bus litterally always) I miss them a lot.. We got
into car and driver took us to Kosova. I was so excited beacuse I heard that Kosova had so cool places
and it has!! We ate a burger and went to a famous library. We took SO MANY photos there wew
went shopping and I bought so many things there. We walked to newborn statue and then went to
church. It has strange and cool windows. We left Priştina and came back to our hotel room and went
to mall again and bought more things and at the mall they blamed us for stealing smt and then they
found out that we were innocent! Our teachers got so angry to them but a funny memory haha…

6. LEAVING…
We woke up so so so early, had a huge breakfast and the driver drove us to airport. We went from
Macedonia to İstanbul, from İstanbul to Adana and from Adana to Mersin by bus. I was sad but also
happy beacuse I missed my family and my friends a lot!! But the saddest part was leaving my friends
there…
