6. I began a close relationship with my dad since I
moved to Chivilcoy. He started telling me
stories about our past…
I will never forget an anecdote he told
me about my great-grandfather.
7. …Since then, I realized that we have
many things in common.
One of them is a desire to travel….
8. …to Ireland and know more about our ancestors, our past
history.
But he said that he did not have the opportunity to do so.
NOW I have the chance to make a trip, but not alone. With
people who were there for me all the year, those who I met
three years ago to be part of this staff. Those who have the
same purpose… TO BE A TEACHER OF ENGLISH.
YOU are on the list… Do you want to go?
9. Let´s go ladies! Pack your cases for the
package holiday charter flight.
30. Thank you for letting me share this with you!
An unforgetable trip
31. Anecdotes:
“The drunk girl…
that night she cried
because she wanted
to eat some
chocolate, but the
kiosk was closed.”
32. “The gossipy member
of the group. During
the trip she took
notes about her
partners’ behaviour.
But nobody realized
about that, because
she lost her diary in
Dublin, at the hotel.”
33. “The singer… She thought
that she sang very well,
but our ears suffered a lot
each time she wanted to
do so.”
34. “The phone girl… All
the time she was
talking to somebody
on the phone (we
never knew who
with). And she
repeated the words
“POOR HIM” every
time!!!!!
35. “The woman who threw cakes.
Before going to bed at night, she
took some cakes from the hotel
reception. But she never ate
them… She threw cakes from the
balcony when people passed by.
That is the way she had fun when
we went out”
36. “The Barbie girl… During
the whole journey she
wore this horrible wig.
Maybe she wanted to be
Susana Gimenez for a
moment… What is more,
she tried to imitate
Barbie and Susana. Thank
God that Adela shut her
up!”
37. “The mad girl… She shouted
everytime “FUCK YOU” at
each person who was
crossing the street. It was
obvious that people would
look at her… What is more,
she stole sugar packets and
toilet soap from the hotel.”
38. “The WACHI- girl… One night we
went to the pub without her…
Then, she appeared. She entered,
gave a memory stick to the
barman and she began to
dance…. Well, she tried to do so.
I think that she was completely
lost!!!”
39. “And I was… well, I did my
job very well! My fellow
travellers are free to give an
opinion about my
behaviour…”
Do not tell “The gossipy girl”
that I HAVE her notebook ;)
What did you think, that she
had forgotten it at the hotel?
No no.
40. I imagine how THAT day would be like…. But I have to be
patient and wait. Everything is possible if you work hard to
reach what you really want.
41. “A people without the knowledge of their
past history, origin and culture is like a tree
without roots.”
