First day
Since we arrived very late, we stopped by the hotel first, so we were a little late for the country
promotion event at the school, but we were able to catch up :).
We had a snack from the treats there and watched the country presentations. When it was our
country's turn, we made our presentation and a teacher said we will do an activity. They gave us a
paper and a pen. On paper, we had aspects that we might have in common with other people (like
our taste in music) and they asked us to socialize. It was a nice event, of course not for shy people
like me :).
We found a rest time for 1-2 hours and after a little rest and chat, we went to the nearby town hall
with our teachers. The mayor welcomed us nicely and chatted with our teachers. They then gave
gifts to students and teachers. After lingering for a while, we went to the school's sports field and
competed by dividing into 2 teams. (But unfortunately we forgot to take our team t-shirts with us :') )
I think we played 6 matches and that was too much for us. We went to our hotel very tired. The first
day was really trying for us but it was very nice.
Second day
We dressed tired and sat down for breakfast. The woman there (I think the owner of the hotel)
prepared a very nice breakfast for us. We had our breakfast and set off. We were to gather in front of
a church. The church was beautiful. After visiting the inside of the church, they took us to the place
where the wine was stored (I think so because there were quite a few barrels full of wine.) They told
us how the wine was and offered wine to the teachers who wanted it. Then we came to a place like a
garden and Elif made me her special photographer :'). After we took the pictures, we got on the bus
and came to the horse farm (I guess we didn't do anything before that, did I mention that the fish
have memory :)) ) after resting for a while at the farm, they wanted to show us a horse show.
However, the horse was very grumpy and they could not perform the show. Instead they showed us
the horses. They were all very beautiful, but they were too big. We took pictures and went to eat.
After the meal, they gave us free time to visit and we arrived at our hotel.

Third day
This time we took the direct bus and went to Vukovar. We visited the museums there and climbed a
tower with 199 steps. We had to wait before going up to the tower but the weather was awful there.
Despite the sun outside, cold winds were blowing and keeping us cold. Finally we got inside and
climbed 199 steps. After we got out, we climbed the ramps that went even higher and went to the
top of the tower. It was very loud and cold. Me and Zeynep couldn't stay long. We just went
downstairs. After everyone had arrived, we went to eat. The place where we ate was very nice and
overlooked the lake. After we had our dinner, we gave free time and wandered around. Finally we
got on the bus and went to our hotel.
Fourth day
We went to Osijek (don't ask how we got there, I don't know either :')) We visited several museums
there and then we went to a big church. That church was perfect too. Then we had free time there
and ate something. Then we went back to school for workshops. We did great things there. (You
must see Elif's masterpiece, you will love it, I will most likely post her photo :)) )
Afterwards, we introduced the art of marbling, which belongs to our own country, and went to the
hotel to collect our luggage. We were leaving tomorrow. And I realized that I will miss this place very
much. Goodbye Cakovo!
Fifth day
That day we got up and got ready to go to Zagreb and set off. Of course I fell asleep because the
journey was long :).
When we came to Zagreb, we put our luggage in the car and agreed with the coachman that he
would pick us up at the train station after 5 hours. Yes, the city was ours and the places to visit were
waiting for us. First we entered a small market and there were souvenir sellers a little ahead of the
market, we bought souvenirs from there and went for a stroll. Lots of photos. After a few hours,
Macdonald went to Macdonald to have something to eat. While me and my friends were resting, our
teachers left us there for 1 hour to explore the area. This was good for my speed because we were
too tired. After our teachers came, we walked around a little more and arrived at the train station. 20
minutes Even before our car arrived, we got in the car and went to the airport. I was leaving this city,
I was a little sad but happy because I missed my home so much. After 2 hours, we came to the
airport and took our luggage and said goodbye to this city. I will miss you Croatia!
