These models could be divided in two groups. The first group is based on self assessment and the second group is based on measurement and improvement of business trade process. Among mentioned models, Balanced score Card (BSC) and European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) have had more chance to be used by many companies. Regarding the high acceptance of these two models in the world and existence many similarities between them; this study is going to present exact glance of these two models and present a comparison between them. Moreover, after recognizing the weaknesses and powers of them, the possibility of using them at the same time will be evaluated. In order to gain this goal, an automobile company’s performance has been assessed based on BSC and EFQM and the results are analyzed with TOPSIS method.

enhance the performance of the sugar industry in Kenya. The study was guided by the following research

the three procurement managers who head the respective procurement departments in the companies. A total of
25 respondents were therefore targeted. The research employed a census study design. The sample size of the
study comprised of 25 respondents. The questionnaires were issued to the procurement staff through their
respective managers.

Measuring organizational performance is pivotal for a comprehensive understanding of strengths,
weaknesses and to improve the quality of any organization’s performance. Balanced Scorecard (BSC) is
the strategic evolution tool that is widely used to measure the organizational performances, and
achievements from various aspects, both financial and non-financial. In this research, BSC was not only a
straight jacket concept but also a high potential tool for measuring and managing tangible and accurate
data through the application of several methods. This research weighted the variables of BSC based on
significance values of Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Optimization of Measurement with
Objective Matrix (OMAX). Moreover, a recommendation analysis was given based on the cause and effect
analysis of variables and the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The flow of information,
data, and performance measurement processes were designed into Business Intelligence (BI) software
development i.e. BI-MonevDash. The framework and software BI-MonevDash proposed can be used as a
new chosen tool for measuring and monitoring organizational performance. Recommendations could
facilitate the leaders in decision making to improve the organizational performance and reduce risks.

The study presents a methodology for the analysis of new investments in property, plant and equipment from the use of operational performance objectives as a premise for decision-making. Qualitatively, we used the product of this study — operations performance matrix. The matrix was then applied through a survey of a sample of footwear companies in the region of Jaú, state of São Paulo, Brazil. The correlations between the scores obtained for each operational performance objective were tested. The analysis of the regression coefficients associated to each independent variable (quality, reliability, speed and flexibility) allowed to conclude that all the questions had a positive impact on the dependent variable (costs), indicating a positive correlation. This survey demonstrated the utility of the proposed methodology when using as a premise for decision the performance objectives of operations that demonstrated that the dependent variable is the consequence and not the cause as treated in the conventional investment analysis that uses the cash flow logic and value present as a decision factor. However, the methodology presented as a complementary form is the analysis of investments of this nature in relation to techniques widely used by the market that adopt the financial results projected as critical success factors.

Cost reduction and efficiency are one of the company’s primary motives in implementing the shared service center, an internal outsourcing business model that centralizes back-office support functions for operating business units. This research aims to examine the effect of introducing the shared service center on productivity, as experienced by publicly listed Malaysian companies. This research has analyzed, using comparative techniques, whether substantial changes in cost structure, return on investment, efficiency, productivity, competitiveness, and profitability have occurred due to developing shared service centers. The relationship between these financial performance metrics is evaluated for five years using regression methods. Secondary data has been collected from financial reports and other publicly accessible documents such as business gadgets. The study also aims to recognize the advantages of shared service center implementation for financial results. The study has clearly indicated that SSC implementation is not always for the better, however. The increasing cost structure ratio indicates that the growth of total revenue due to SSC implementation is not as fast as the growth of operating expenses. Asset turnover is observed to be generally decreasing after SSC implementation. The graphical trending has rejected the claim that all the variables or financial performance indicators have improved after establishing SSC. The results of the ordinary least squares regression method have corroborated 4 out of 5 hypotheses – only the asset turnover ratio has revealed a relationship that is different from what has been predicted. The payback period can be included as an additional variable or determinant to further corroborate the time-specific benefits regarding future research
