SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION (SEO)
● SEO is the process of taking steps to help a website or piece of content rank
higher on Google.
● To make it a bit simpler, search engine optimization means taking a piece of
online content and optimizing it so search engines like Google show it
towards the top of the page when someone searches for something
SEARCH ENGINE MARKETING (SEM)
● SEM, or search engine marketing, is often considered the part of search
marketing that uses PAID tactics to gain visibility in SERPs.
● A paid SEM strategy includes both the activities involved with setting up and
optimizing ads as well as setting a budget that pays for the placement of
ads.
SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING (SMM)
● The term social media marketing (SMM) refers to the use of social media
and social networks to market a company's products and services.
● Social media marketing provides companies with a way to engage with
existing customers and reach new ones while allowing them to promote their
desired culture, mission, or tone.
PAY PER CLICK (PPC)
● Pay-Per-Click” or PPC is a form of internet advertising where a company
pays a platform only when the ad is clicked.
● With PPC advertising, ads will be displayed on your website and you will be
paid whenever someone clicks on them.
● It's often considered the "go to" method for online advertisers because they
don't want to pay just to display their ad. They want to pay only when people
take action based on their ad

influencers to improve brand recognition.
● Influencers, unlike celebrities, can be anywhere. What makes them
influential is their large followings on the web and social media. An influencer
can be a popular fashion photographer on Instagram, or a well-read cyber
security blogger who tweets, or a respected marketing executive on
LinkedIn.
AFFILIATE MARKETING
● Affiliate marketing is an advertising model in which a company compensates
third-party publishers to generate traffic or leads to the company's products
and services.
● The third-party publishers are affiliates, and the commission fee incentivizes
them to find ways to promote the company.
E-MAIL MARKETING
● Email marketing is a form of marketing that can make the customers on your
email list aware of new products, discounts, and other services. It can also
be a softer sell to educate your audience on the value of your brand or keep
them engaged between purchases. It can also be anything in between.

MOBILE MARKETING
● Mobile marketing is a multi-channel, digital marketing strategy aimed at
reaching a target audience on their smartphones, tablets, and/or other
mobile devices, via websites, email, SMS and MMS, social media, and apps
● Mobile technology gives consumers the opportunity to shop and compare
while they walk down the store aisle. Businesses that have active mobile
marketing campaigns can take advantage of this.
