2. Overview
• ALOHA! My name is Sarah Mae Burdios.
• In 1993, I started school at Menehune Rainbow
Pre-School in Kaneohe, HI.
• I graduated from Moanalua High School in 2007
in Honolulu, HI.
• I first attended college at UH Mānoa in Fall of
2007.
• When I finish my degree, I hope to become a
high school English teacher.

5. Kindergarten Technology
The Etch-A-Sketch used to
inspire creativity and art.
The chalkboard was used as
the teacher’s main source of
teaching and learning.
As the Internet started
to become popular,
dial-up connection was
the only source. It was
slow, but it worked!

6. High School Technology
The original iPod created to
play music and only music.
Bill Gates created Microsoft Office,
which became the source of typing
documents and essays, instead of
using an old-fashioned typewriter.
The Samsung razor was my first
flip-phone. It was said that this
was the thinnest device of its
time and I was excited to start
texting (although I still had a
250-text limit per month).

Acer Netbook. Has all the
capabilities in a regular
PC, just way smaller and
easier to carry.
Nintendo WII is a game console
that allows you to have fun
without the stress of wires and
chords, and also helps you stay
healthy with its new Wii Fit.
