approach to learning that
aligns itself with the
emerging Fourth Industrial
Revolution (IR 4.0) and
focuses on transforming the
future of education through
advanced technology and
automation.

Predicting and keeping pace with workplace
change is nearly impossible, making adaptability
and evolution more important than knowledge.

10. EDUCATION 4.0
• Under what conditions will your children start their schooling?
When they graduate from college, will they be in a profession
that does not yet exist? Will they need to have multiple
professions throughout their career?
• Industry 4.0 is the door to the modern world:
Cybernetics, Robotics, Big Data, Nanotechnology, Artificial
Intelligence, Automation, Global Citizenship, Digital Age and
many more concepts to our lives.

How technology can improve student’s access to education and address
learning gaps.
• Foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN)
• Professional development for educators
• Career readiness,
• Connecting underserved students.
12. NEP AND EDUCATION 4.0
• The NEP-2020 proposes the revision and revamping of all aspects of education
• Integration of vocational education into mainstream education
• Secondary schools will have to collaborate with ITIs, Polytechnics, Local Industry,
etc.
• No hard separations between arts and sciences, between curricular and extra-
curricular activities, between vocational and academic streams, etc.
• Students will be given increased flexibility and choice of subjects to study,
particularly in secondary school –To design their own paths of study and life plans.
• Integration of vocational education programmes into mainstream education
• Developing workplace-related skills and attitudes through internships and on-thejob
training.
• Entrepreneurship curricula from middle stage
13. Possible changes in future:
• The responsibility for learning will shift from teachers to students. Classes will
become more flexible in the next few years, accommodating diverse learning
methods.
• Institutions offer education, research, and service differently, including massive open
online courses (MOOC), virtual classrooms, virtual libraries, virtual laboratories, and
virtual educators.
• Education 4.0 will also allow students to choose what they wish to learn. Moreover,
each student will receive a customized learning experience.
• Students will also have the option of selecting the learning tools they prefer.
• Fourth Industrial Revolution will augment the learning experience and offer exciting
opportunities for higher education.

• Because of the Fourth Industrial Revolution,
the premier institutions offer education,
research, and service differently, including
massive open online courses (MOOC), virtual
classrooms, virtual libraries, virtual
laboratories, and virtual educators.
18. Will AI replace the teachers?
• AI cannot prepare a student for the struggles of life, like a teacher would.
• A teacher inspires and motivates students, creates a safe and supportive
classroom environment, and helps students develop critical thinking skills,
creativity, and social skills. All of that, from AI, seems really far away.
