Each time the Earth
rotates around =
ONE DAY
Axis
Is an imaginary line that goes

Every 24 hours the Earth rotates (spins
on its axis)
This is what causes day and night
Earth rotates counter clockwise

Revolution
Every year (365 days) is one revolution
of the Earth around the Sun
This is what causes the different
seasons
Earth Rotates and
Revolves around
the Sun at the
same time.
Moon’s
Rotation
18.61 years for the moon to make a
complete rotation
Moon’s Revolution
27.32 days long for the Moon to revolve
