This document provides an agenda and overview for the first week of an education course. It includes assignments to complete such as viewing PowerPoints, writing a paper, replying to classmates, watching videos, and submitting a reflection. Students are asked to select a content area of focus and review the schedule for next week which will include creating headers and footers and learning about watermarks. Contact information is provided for any questions.

• Weekly assignments:
– Follow the weekly assignment calendar
– READ, REACT, RESPOND, REFLECT
– PROOFREAD!!!
• Share in class

3. This week:
• Make certain you have your syllabus, calendar,
weekly assignments printed out.
• View the “Did you know?” PowerPoint.
• Who Am I? paper should have been (and were)
posted on Wednesday.
• Reply to 3 classmate’s stories by tomorrow.
• Watch videos (links are posted and in calendar).
• Send me your 1-2 page reflection by midnight
Sunday (include thoughts on class, videos, etc.)
• Begin thinking about your content area.

• Meet Milo : Watch the video. How do you
think programs like this will impact the
future of education?
• The Future of Technology: What trends do
you already see in our world today? Think
about the classroom of tomorrow.

6. Looking Ahead to Week 2
• Work on your reaction paper to the videos.
• Continue planning for your content area.

and watermark.
