A survey was sent to all 4th and 5th grade teachers at W.S. Lafargue Elementary to determine their professional development needs and preferences. The majority of teachers indicated that they would most benefit from and learn best from a hands-on professional development about classroom funding and Donors Choose during their weekly grade level meetings. Based on the survey results which showed a need for updated technology, the teacher decided to conduct a professional development session focused on Donors Choose classroom funding during the weekly meetings.
