2. Ordering the clips When I started editing my music video I used my timeline to look
at the ordering the clips into the right place according to the
song.
To move the clips first thing to do is click at the top of the
programme on “Quick” tab, and you can choose between that
and “Expert”. to insert a clip you go on “Add media” and
scroll down to “From file” and find it from there, then dragging
it down onto the “Video 1” marker. The quick tab makes it
easier to move the clips about.
When dragging the video clips where you want to; to ensure it
runs smoothly with no spaces it will come up with a green bar
next to the other clips which means you can let it drop there as
it’s in right place. (Clip highlights blue when clicking on them on
both settings)

3. Time Remapping
In some of my clips I needed to adjust the speed and timing of the clips
to ensure that they were in sync with the song lyrics or the tempo of the
composition.
1. First I clicked on “Tools” and scrolled down the options to “Time
Remapping”.
2. To change the speed of the clip you click on “Add Time Zone” .
When I pressed this a green box came up that I was able to adjust
and expand so that the whole clip is changed or could even just
highlight a section of the clip you want to change speed of to
emphasize it.
3. After highlighting the section you can play the clip over and over
whilst moving the button on the timing navigation between the
“Extremely slow, slow, fast and extremely fast. “Or I even
had choice of clicking on the “Reverse “tab in case I wanted to
create a rewinding effect or remain on the “Forward”.
4. In this clip I slowed it down to approximately 1/26 x speed so his
head was moving to the beat of the song.
5. Once satisfied I pressed “Done” and the Time Remapping of that
clip was completed.

To upload my video I first clicked on Publish +Share and scrolled
down to “Computer”. Then I selected it to become an MPEC
which can use for playback on the computer before uploading.
I then chose HDTV
1080p 24 High Quality
as I wanted my video
to be good quality but
any larger file would
take long and freeze
the computer. I then
saved it as my final
video and uploaded it
onto Youtube.
