2. Here I am adjusting the shadows and highlights of the picture manually, to do this I went to image adjustments and
altered the black level and the brightness levels to make sure the image does not look over exposed and so that the colour
levels look good in the image.

3. Here I cropped out the image to make it fit on A4 size so that the image is the right size for the front page as it need to be
a4 size, to do this I went on the side bare and clicked on the crop tool, this allowed me to choose the amount I wanted to
crop out.

4. This is the image I will be using for my front cover; therefore, I have edited it to prefect it as much as possible. There is a
number of ways in which I have edited this image, one of which is sharpening it. I have done this so that the edges of the image
appear sharper. This also makes the image clearer and easier to see and manipulate. Moreover, as I sharpened the image, the
image, the contrast of the image is also improved and it makes edges appear more defined by darkening the darker pixels and
brightening the brighter pixels. As a result, this allows the subject of the image, being the bike, have a higher presence in the
image and to stand out from the rest of the image.
This print screen shows how I
selected the sharpening filter from
the menu bar, this led to a drop
down which I selected to sharpen
the image. This allowed all areas of
the image to be sharpened, so that
all the edges on the image looks
sharp as well as the pixels.

5. Here I am adjusting the brightness and contrast of the image, I am doing this so that the contrast
of the image look correct and makes the colours more bold and vivid. To do this I went to the
menu bar and went on image to select brightness and contrast, I used the slider to adjust this.
