The class was told were are going to create a trailer one of the aspects of
creating a trailer is the editing. The software we are going to use is Adobe
premier elements 9. Because I wasn’t familiar with the software I decided to do
research and find out I could achieve with the software.

To start editing we had to first get our clips organised.
To gain access to the
clips we had to go to
organize and then
select ‘Get Media’
When I found the clips I selected and
started editing.

To add effects to
clips you can select
the ‘edit’ option and
edit the selected
clip.
My first time using Premier elements I was
told to get familiar with how things work
we learned how to add effects and
organise clips.

Part of the production
process was to
incorporate my trailer
logo. So to keep it simple
and memorable. I used
Rashid Productions as my
film trailer logo. As a part
of meeting the
conventions of a trailer I
put my logo at the
beginning and end so the
audience would keep in
mind on who created the
trailer.
