What is eco-friendly technology
 Eco-friendly technologies involved making use of
alternative energy source which is abundant to
generate renewable energy, reducing the amount of
resource which is limited used through the conventional
like fossil fuel.
 The technology has been adopted by financial
institutions around the world.
 They use it to source liquidity for international
transactions, and because of the unprecedented
efficiency it offers, they’re able to both bring down costs
and improve services.
Increased technology
 This means hundreds of millions of people
worldwide who need to move money safely
and securely across borders can do so more
affordably and reliably than ever before
 Building for the Future
 Digital assets and block chain technology are
the future of finance.
 There are 4 ways to increase technology
Supply chain technology
 chain is a network between distributors,
manufacturers, and creators of goods. The
network handles storing and moving raw materials
and finished products from the point of origin to
consumers.
 To say that supply chain efficiency has come a
long way is an understatement. What used to be
tracked on paper has moved to electronic tracking
and now to protected block chain databases.
Energy efficiency
 Smart thermostats, light bulbs, and power strips
aren’t just for home use. Corporations are buying
these products for use in the office, and they are
seeing their conservation efforts pay off at scale.
Changing only five light bulbs can save $75/year,
and Tech Republic reported that a store saved
$3,000 annually — and reduced its energy
consumption by 30,000 kilowatts — by setting its
air conditioner to turn on at 75 instead of 74
degrees.
Recycling innovations
 Several technology companies are trying to
create products that are committed to
sustainable business. For example, Apple has
unveiled its new MacBook made with 100
percent recycled aluminum. Investigating
what products you are going to introduce into
your office and committing to only buying
those that are environmentally friendly is a
positive business practice.
Predictive maintenance
 piece of technology is hooked up to the
Internet of Things (IOT) and uses machine
learning to predict when it will need routine
servicing or when it is close to end of life. No
more wasting time, energy, products, etc.
Machines would run smoother and with more
energy efficiency—also they’d only be
recycled at the very end of life, once all their
parts could no longer be replaced.
Air and water pollution
 Air pollution occurs when harmful or
excessive quantities of gases such as carbon
dioxide, carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide,
nitric oxide and methane are introduced into
the earth’s atmosphere. The main sources all
relate to technologies which emerged
following the industrial revolution such as the
burning of fossil fuels, factories, power
stations, mass agriculture and vehicles.
Depletion of natural resources
 Resource depletion is another negative
impact of technology on the environment. It
refers to the consumption of a resource faster
than it can be replenished.
 Natural resources consist of those that are in
existence without humans having created
them and they can be either renewable or
non-renewable.
Method of eco-friendly 7R’s
Why is eco-friendly technology necessary
 Aims to reduce the negative impact of technology.
 Help to decrease global warming and green
house effect.
 To overcome the threats caused by human
activities to the environment.
 Prevention of environmental pollution.
 It helps in improve the quality of life.
 Contributes in biodiversity conservation.
 It leads to sustainable development.

Challenges faced by eco-friendly
technology
 It is more expensive than the technology.
 Lack of information.
 Green resources require renewable and
recyclable which is costly.
 Majority of the people not aware of green
product and their uses.
 Lack of awareness about administrative
support.
 Emerging technology ,so risks involved.
 No known alternative performance
technology.
Methods to overcome challenges
 Reduction of input costs.
 Conserve energy.
 Awareness of eco-friendly technology.
 Invest in eco-friendly technology.
 Start think becoming more eco-concise.
 Widening the coverage of government
incentives to include the usage of green
products and technologies.
 To educate the public about the benefits of
eco-friendly technology.
