What’s different about XT?

In 2004, Eaton design engineers developed a
new IEC motor starter line. Given pressures on
manufacturers to increase profits, some design
new lines with one primary objective… to take
cost out of the product.
That was not what Eaton had in mind. Eaton
created the XT line to be engineered better.

Redesigned Magnet Frame
XT has a new “T-C” shape magnet
frame and armature, reducing coil Magnet Frame
consumption by up to 60%. What
does this mean for you… smaller
transformers and power supplies.

Better Termination
New terminal design provides a
better connection compared to side-
by-side saddle clamp terminals.
