Manual System
• Patient Registration: Usually no register is maintained; rarely there may be a
manual register
• Clinical data of Patient: Kept in a hand written prescription which is handed over
to the patient. No record is usually kept with the prescribing doctor. Often,
patients loose the prescription and all data are lost with it.
• Doctors are unable to analyse Patient/Diseases Trend or have a chronological
picture of a particular patient’s condition.
