Easter in Greece is a very important celebration where on Holy Friday people decorate epitaphs with flowers to symbolize Christ's tomb. Epitaphs come from many places in Greece like Alexandroupolis and are decorated with things like pearls. On Easter people come together with their families to eat traditional foods like magiritsa soup containing lamb offal and intestines, red eggs, feta cheese, and wine and have the best dinner with food, dancing and singing.
