Graduating in 2013, Emory University alumnus Maral Cavner earned the highest degree of honors for a bachelor of arts. In addition to academic honors, Maral Cavner was accepted into the exclusive national leadership society Omicron Delta Kappa. 2. Introduction
 Graduating in 2013, Emory University alumnus Maral
Cavner earned the highest degree of honors for a bachelor
of arts. In addition to academic honors, Maral Cavner was
accepted into the exclusive national leadership society
Omicron Delta Kappa. To become members of the century-
old organization, candidates must qualify under a certain
set of criteria.
Potential Omicron Delta Kappa members need to be
actively involved in one of several aspects of campus life,
including athletics, the arts, scholarship, community
involvement, or media.

3. Omicron Delta Kappa
 Past and present university staff, faculty, and students can
qualify for membership if they showcase fellowship,
scholarship, character, responsibility, leadership, and
democratic ideals in their work.
Upon admission into the society, members gain access to
training sessions and leadership resources, career
exploration partnerships, and a network that consists of
successful alumni who serve in leadership positions within
