 A graduate of Emory University in Atlanta, Maral Cavner
has interned for the International Campaign for Tibet and
the Missouri Attorney General’s Office. Maral Cavner has
also had small parts in a few Hollywood hits, including The
Hunger Games: Catching Fire, starring Jennifer Lawrence
and Woody Harrelson.
Released in November 2013, The Hunger Games: Catching
Fire is a science fiction adventure film based on the novel
Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins. Francis Lawrence
directed the film, which was the second installment in The
Hunger Games series.

 The film was a critical success, even surpassing the
first movie in the series, which some critics attribute to
Francis Lawrence signing on as the new director.
Lawrence found the right balance between emotion
