Maral Cavner graduated from Emory University with highest honors in sociology, having interned with the Missouri Attorney General's Office and International Campaign for Tibet. She was inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa, a national leadership society recognizing achievement in academics, athletics, arts, campus activities and journalism. Omicron Delta Kappa has over 285 circles selecting members in the top 35% of their class demonstrating strong character, leadership and dedication to democratic ideals.

2.  Holding a bachelor of arts degree in
sociology from Emory University, Maral
Cavner interned with both the Missouri
Attorney General’s Office and the
International Campaign for Tibet while in
school. A dedicated student, Maral Cavner
graduated with the highest degree of
honors, and was inducted into the Emory
Chapter of Omicron Delta Kappa, a
national leadership and service senior
society.

3.  Omicron Delta Kappa recognizes
achievement in five areas: athletics,
scholarships, creative and performing arts,
campus activities, and journalism and mass
media. Members of Omicron Delta Kappa
are undergraduate students who rank in
the top 35 percent of their class and are
either juniors or seniors at their school.
Membership is also open to graduate
students and faculty, along with alumni and
leaders who qualify for honorary
membership.

4.  The Society maintains over 285 active
circles at various universities and colleges
around the United States, and each circle
chooses members based on its own
traditions. In general, members of Omicron
Delta Kappa demonstrate exemplary
character and genuine fellowship, and are
responsible leaders active in campus or
community life. Members also excel
academically and show dedication to
democratic ideals.
