5. eHealth Philippines: Goals
By 2015
• Patients' PhilHealth eligibility can be determined upon
presentation in an accredited health facility
• Availability of smart healthcare systems that recognizes risks and
prevents progression into adverse events
- Providers are alerted of high-risk patients
- Data sets are mined for new risk parameters
• Academe and professional organizations are able to equip
professionals with eHealth knowledge and skills
• All health facilities will have access to relevant information for
decision-making
