Gillie Salmon Model of Teaching and Learning Online Stage 1: Access and Motivation The purpose of this stage is to expose participants to the platform and to enable them to become successful with the technology used during the course. Technical support needs to be available widely. Stage 1 is generally over when participants have posted their first messages
