The University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, Barbados, will host the CARIFESTA XIII Symposium entitled “The Caribbean, the Arts and the Cultural Industries: Negotiating Tradition, Aesthetics, Economics and Legacy.” The Symposium was hosted at The University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, from 19-23 August 2017.

ALaRMMs
The term used to describe Archivists, Librarians, Record Managers and
Museum professionals.
Digital Curation
The term digital curation is...the actions needed to maintain digital research data
and other digital materials over their entire life-cycle and over time for current and
future generations of users. (DCC)
Digital Cultural Assets and Heritage
The digital heritage consists of unique resources of human knowledge and
expression. It embraces cultural, educational, scientific and administrative
resources, as well as technical, legal, medical and other kinds of information
created digitally, or converted into digital form from existing analogue resources.
Where resources are “born digital”, there is no other format but the digital object.
