Traditional brands and business are currently struggling by the amount of change that is required to be successful in an everchanging digital environment. Client interactions are still analogue, existing data is not leveraged and business are still operating on legacy systems. What and how do we need to transform our approach and where we need a digital first strategy.
In a nutshell we will discuss the following questions:
- What does good look like and how far away are we from data-driven real-time customer engagement?
- What are latest trends and where do we need to focus our effort?
- How do CEOs / CMOs drive implementation and overcome current (self-made) barriers?
- What are key Success-Factors by driving our transformation?
- What tools and consulting we really need?
- How do leaders embrace the change and take their team on journey?
As the MarTech space gets more and more crowded we often find we don’t use our existing tools to their full potential. We end up with products that don’t always live up to all the hype we were promised. Find out how to enhance the tools you already have without having to replace them. See how two of Australia’s biggest corporates utilised a Customer Data Platform (CDP) to access data that’s always seemed too far out of reach and supercharged the tools they already had.

It seems rather pedestrian to include email as a digital tactic, but, really, what else could it be? Email is vital to the marketing success of Medicare organizations. Email is a means to communicate with members, deliver digital
assets like or through the delivery of a link within the email message, acknowledge membership, send eNewsletters and accomplish almost any communications need.

Successful online insurance – superb customer satisfaction with the help of g...Human Interface Group
Taking out an insurance online is not the same as buying a pair of shoes in a webshop. For the latter you choose a model and a colour, you enter your size and you click ‘Send’. An insurance however, comes with a lot of conditions and parameters. Simple tasks - like putting your signature at the end of the contract - can become quite complex online.
As the fourth industrial revolution unfolds, organisations are having to re-skill and adopt new strategies for sales, marketing and HR success.
Many boards are still evolving into Social Businesses - organisations which adopt social media for effective HR, customer service and sales, as well as a channel for marketing. But further game changers are on the horizon, one being Artificial Intelligence.
These slides are highlights of the many public and private talks and presentations I deliver.

In 2017, the human resources industry has done a lot of soul searching about the way culture and performance issues were handled within companies. In 2018, another big internal shift is coming, but this time the focus is on technology: how it can be used to find people, connect people, engage people, even replace people — and what to do when that happens. For years, technology has acted as a tool to help with day-to-day tasks, but the focus in 2018 will be technology as a way of life in the workplace. These are the five biggest trends in HR arena in upcoming year, with blend of technology.
Marketing is meant to increase brand awareness and create a pipeline of quality leads that convert to sales. Getting the word out about a small business might be difficult due to reduced exposure and a lack of resources (like budget or time). There are, however, crucial tactics that can assist you in scaling your small business’s marketing activities.
Artificial Intelligence can be defined as a machine which has a brain of its own and command itself using Neurotransmission, or in a layman term it can be termed as Intelligent Computer. For example lets take the case of a fertilizer industry, Fertilizer Industry Uses robots to produce hazardous chemicals which can be dangerous when a human being come across these chemicals it can be dangerous for them, so use of robots brings the productivity at ease, and making the work continuous for 24*7. For turning off the robot you also don't need to visit the plant You can do that job remotely. Lets Talk about how Artificial Intelligence can transform marketing.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).
Speakers:
Bob Boule
Robert Boule is a technology enthusiast with PASSION for technology and making things work along with a knack for helping others understand how things work. He comes with around 20 years of solution engineering experience in application security, software continuous delivery, and SaaS platforms. He is known for his dynamic presentations in CI/CD and application security integrated in software delivery lifecycle.
Gopinath Rebala
Gopinath Rebala is the CTO of OpsMx, where he has overall responsibility for the machine learning and data processing architectures for Secure Software Delivery. Gopi also has a strong connection with our customers, leading design and architecture for strategic implementations. Gopi is a frequent speaker and well-known leader in continuous delivery and integrating security into software delivery.
Removing Uninteresting Bytes in Software FuzzingAftab Hussain
Imagine a world where software fuzzing, the process of mutating bytes in test seeds to uncover hidden and erroneous program behaviors, becomes faster and more effective. A lot depends on the initial seeds, which can significantly dictate the trajectory of a fuzzing campaign, particularly in terms of how long it takes to uncover interesting behaviour in your code. We introduce DIAR, a technique designed to speedup fuzzing campaigns by pinpointing and eliminating those uninteresting bytes in the seeds. Picture this: instead of wasting valuable resources on meaningless mutations in large, bloated seeds, DIAR removes the unnecessary bytes, streamlining the entire process.
In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds.

Securing your Kubernetes cluster_ a step-by-step guide to success !KatiaHIMEUR1
Today, after several years of existence, an extremely active community and an ultra-dynamic ecosystem, Kubernetes has established itself as the de facto standard in container orchestration. Thanks to a wide range of managed services, it has never been so easy to set up a ready-to-use Kubernetes cluster.
However, this ease of use means that the subject of security in Kubernetes is often left for later, or even neglected. This exposes companies to significant risks.
In this talk, I'll show you step-by-step how to secure your Kubernetes cluster for greater peace of mind and reliability.
Epistemic Interaction - tuning interfaces to provide information for AI supportAlan Dix
Paper presented at SYNERGY workshop at AVI 2024, Genoa, Italy. 3rd June 2024
https://alandix.com/academic/papers/synergy2024-epistemic/
As machine learning integrates deeper into human-computer interactions, the concept of epistemic interaction emerges, aiming to refine these interactions to enhance system adaptability. This approach encourages minor, intentional adjustments in user behaviour to enrich the data available for system learning. This paper introduces epistemic interaction within the context of human-system communication, illustrating how deliberate interaction design can improve system understanding and adaptation. Through concrete examples, we demonstrate the potential of epistemic interaction to significantly advance human-computer interaction by leveraging intuitive human communication strategies to inform system design and functionality, offering a novel pathway for enriching user-system engagements.
Climate Impact of Software Testing at Nordic Testing DaysKari Kakkonen
My slides at Nordic Testing Days 6.6.2024
Climate impact / sustainability of software testing discussed on the talk. ICT and testing must carry their part of global responsibility to help with the climat warming. We can minimize the carbon footprint but we can also have a carbon handprint, a positive impact on the climate. Quality characteristics can be added with sustainability, and then measured continuously. Test environments can be used less, and in smaller scale and on demand. Test techniques can be used in optimizing or minimizing number of tests. Test automation can be used to speed up testing.
