She presented on the practical application of the Connections software to promote knowledge sharing across DTE Energy's businesses. The presentation provided an overview of DTE Energy's businesses, employees, and customers. It then described how Connections was piloted with select user groups and rolled out enterprise-wide to address issues with knowledge silos and sharing. Marcia discussed strategies for adoption, including leadership support, training videos, and communities. The goal was to use Connections to connect DTE's over 9,000 employees and facilitate problem solving.

using Facebook when my social media savvy, new age
sister called me and said, 'You need to be on Facebook
because your son is on Facebook'. So yes, I joined in 2008

my son. No, I don't spy on him and funny enough after I got
started on Facebook, I don't communicate with him on it
either. We still communicate the old fashioned way. But I do
