The lemon is a small evergreen tree (Citrus limon) originally native to Asia and is also the name of the tree's oval yellow fruit. The fruit is used for culinary and non-culinary purposes throughout the world – primarily for its juice, though the pulp and rind (zest) are also used, mainly in cooking and baking. Lemon is about 5% (approximately 0.3 mole per litre) citric acid, which gives lemons a sour taste, and a pH of 2 to 3. This makes lemon juice an inexpensive, readily available acid for use in educational science experiments. Because of the sour flavor, many lemon-flavored drinks and candies are available, including lemonade and sour heads.

Citrus fruits are major category of Fruits and the wastage generated during the processing of them is about 50% to the fruit. To reduce that how to utilize them and produce different by products from Citrus fruit waste.
Tomatoes grown in winter have higher quality and are processed into products like juice, puree, paste, sauce and ketchup to avoid losses during peak seasons. Processing involves selecting fully ripe tomatoes, washing, sorting, cutting, heating and pulping them before adding other ingredients like salt, sugar and spices. The mixture is then filled into bottles or cans, sterilized and stored. Problems like black neck formation in bottles can be prevented by filling hot products above 85°C and reducing iron contamination.
This document provides information on chillies (Capsicum spp.), including:
- Chillies are an important crop grown in India, with over 400 varieties found worldwide. India is the world's largest producer and exporter of chillies.
- The three main chilli species originated in Central and South America and were spread to other parts of the world by humans.
- Chillies are a good source of vitamins C and A. They also contain compounds like capsaicin that have anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties.
Spice Cultivation and Processing (Celery, Cinnamon, Coriander, Cloves, Fennel Seed, Garlic, Ginger, Lemon Balm, Mustard, Onion, Parsley, Savory, Sorrel, Tamarind, Turmeric, Sesame, Sassafras, Rosemary, Poppy Seed, Paprika, Oregano, Lemongrass)
A spice is a seed, fruit, root, bark, or other plant substance primarily used for flavoring, coloring or preserving food. Spices are distinguished from herbs, which are the leaves, flowers, or stems from plants used for flavoring or as a garnish. Sometimes, spices may be ground into a powder for convenience. Many spices have antimicrobial properties. This may explain why spices are more commonly used in warmer climates, which have more infectious diseases, and why the use of spices is prominent in meat, which is particularly susceptible to spoiling. Spices are sometimes used in medicine, religious rituals, cosmetics or perfume production, or as a vegetable.

Fruit Juice Factory. How to Manufacture Fruit JuiceAjjay Kumar Gupta
Fruit Juice Factory. How to Manufacture Fruit Juice. Aseptic Packaging and Processing of Fruit Juice
Fruit juice is 100% pure juice made from the flesh of fresh fruit or from whole fruit, depending on the type used. It is not permitted to add sugars, sweeteners, preservatives, flavourings or colourings to fruit juice.
Nowadays, with the benefit of ultra-high temperature (UHT) pasteurization, aseptic packaging techniques and systems, pressed juices can be stored for extended periods with very little deterioration in quality. Previously, reliance had to be places upon the use of preservatives and ‘classical’ pasteurization at lower temperatures (70ºC+) and longer holding times.

Production of Ethanol from Grains: Corn, Wheat, Sugarcane & Barley | Profitable Business Opportunity
Ethanol is considered the first generation of biofuels. Starch, sugar, and vegetable oil are used to make this fuel. It's made commercially from decomposing corn and wheat. Ethanol-producing plants are referred to as bio refineries. This is because they transform grain biomass into ethanol using live enzymes and microorganisms.
Chili Oil – Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business p...Ajjay Kumar Gupta
Spices are used for flavour, colour, aroma and preservation of food or beverages. Spices may be derived from many parts of the plant: bark, buds, flowers, fruits, leaves, rhizomes, roots, seeds, stigmas and styles or the entire plant tops. The term ‘herb’ is used as a subset of spice and refers to plants with aromatic leaves. Spices are often dried and used in a processed but complete state. Another option is to prepare extracts such as essential oils by distilling the raw spice material (wet or dry), or to use solvents to extract oleoresins and other standardized products. Spice oils are basically extracts from the spice seeds or spice plant parts and they are 100 percent pure extracts that retain the full body and flavor profile of the particular spice.
Chili is available in throughout India. It is especially available in the U.P, Himachal Pradesh and other states. Chili is one of the abundantly domestically used as well as commercially used spices.

Introduction
The lemon is a small evergreen tree (Citrus limon)
originally native to Asia and is also the name of the
tree's oval yellow fruit. The fruit is used for culinary
and non-culinary purposes throughout the world –
primarily for its juice, though the pulp and rind (zest)
are also used, mainly in cooking and baking. Lemon
is about 5% (approximately 0.3 mole per litre) citric
acid, which gives lemons a sour taste, and a pH of 2
to 3.
3. www.entrepreneurindia.co
This makes lemon juice an inexpensive, readily
available acid for use in educational science
experiments. Because of the sour flavor, many
lemon-flavored drinks and candies are available,
including lemonade and sour heads.
Lemons are used to make lemonade, and as a
garnish for drinks. Lemon zest has many uses. Many
mixed, soft drinks, iced tea, and water is often served
with a wedge or slice of lemon in the glass or on the
rim. The average lemon contains approximately 3
tablespoons of juice.
4. www.entrepreneurindia.co
Fish are marinated in lemon juice to neutralize the
odor. Lemon juice, alone or in combination with
other ingredients, is used to marinate meat before
cooking. Lemons, alone or with oranges, are used to
make marmalade. The grated rind of the lemon,
called lemon zest, is used to add flavor to baked
goods, puddings, rice and other dishes. Pickled
lemons are a Moroccan delicacy. Numerous lemon
liqueurs are made from lemon rind.
5. www.entrepreneurindia.co
Apart from the juice, the essential oil extracted by
steam distillation is an important product from the
fruit. Lemon oil is highly beneficial for medicinal
purposes. The main chemical components of lemon
oil are a-pinene, camphene, b-pinene, sabinene,
myrcene, a-terpinene, linalool, b-bisabolene,
limonene, Trans-a- bergamotene, nerol and neral.
