While they offer benefits like increased safety and efficiency, there are significant concerns regarding civilian casualties, legality, and psychological effects on operators. The current regulatory landscape is complex, with the U.S. FAA prohibiting commercial use but permitting military action under international and domestic law.

2. What is a drone?
• Unmanned aerial vehicles, otherwise known as drones,
are remotely-controlled aircrafts which may be armed
with weapon or surveillance systems.

system for division and corps commanders.
• Lockheed Martin Polecat : Used for research.
• MQ-1 Predator drone : Used for airstrikes.
