Policy, Responsibilities, and Guidelines
Responsibilities
• Drivers must be legally licensed
• Drivers are responsible for the safe, legal, non-
abusive operation of the leased vehicles
• All occupants must have seat belts fastened
during any movement of the vehicle.
• Drivers must report to their supervisor any
accident, damage or moving violation involving a
Company vehicle or to a personal vehicle used on
Company business.
• Associates are responsible for all moving
violations while operating a company vehicle.

Guidelines:
If a call must
be taken and
a hands-free
device is not
in use, the
vehicle must
be pulled
over as soon
as safely
possible.
• Transporting a hitchhiker is prohibited
• Use of the vehicle for any business venture
other than that pertaining to associate's job
duties is prohibited.
• Accepting any form of compensation for
carrying passengers or materials is prohibited.
• Smoking in company vehicles is prohibited.
• Operating a vehicle while using a cellular
phone or other device is prohibited. Talking
without a hands-free device or text messaging
while driving is prohibited
• Eating while driving a company vehicle is
prohibited
• All traffic laws and speed limits must be obeyed
at all times

 If a driver is taking any medication labeled with a warning that it
could impair his or her driving ability, the associate must provide
his or her supervisor with the name of the prescription drug.
 All associates are expected to drive defensively, obey all traffic laws
and not drive under the influence of drugs or alcohol
