This document summarizes a one day visit by students to two drip irrigation sites in Dhok Khurram and near Khanpur Dam. The visit allowed students to see drip irrigation systems used on cucumber and loquat tree farms and palm plants. Key elements of the systems included solar panels, pumps, water storage tanks, filters, main lines, laterals, emitters, and control valves. The government provides subsidies for installation and encourages farmers to use drip irrigation as it is more efficient than other methods. The students learned about the components and water flow within the systems.
