at work it should be away from the face
• Long hair should be tied in a bun using a net or pulled back neatly
• Hair accessories should be black and minimal
• Must avoid loud hair dye
• Short hair should be cut in elegant contemporary style, which is
manageable and looks neat throughout duty hours

  1. Ask the audience… if they would like to work with this person. Ask why?
  2. Tell the audience that there are times when we are getting dressed for work and we ask ourselves “would this be appropriate to work to work” Take acknowledgement from the audience. Tell them that the next few slides should help them identify what to work and what not to.
  3. Preferably choose pastel colors , self colors, small prints.
  4. Preferably choose small prints or self colors. Avoid plunging necklines ,sleeveless and tight fitting clothes
  5. Shoes with 1 ½ - inch heels are standard. You can wear heel with 2 – 3 inches as well. You may also wear a pair with smaller heels or a flat pair. Stick with a black/brown with Formals. Be sure your shoes are polished and that your heels are intact.
  6. Do not wear colorful sandals Avoid heels and sandals with bling
  7. Earning rings Wear stubs or small rings
  8. You may wear either a bracelet or a bangle. Preferably Avoid both Avoid chunky bracelets or too many bangles
  9. Chains:You may wear thin chains with small lockets. Rings Keep them simple and not chunky. Do not wear ornamental/ chunky jewelry.
