members, seven agreed that they would not join due to a lack of money, and six
out of those seven said they still would not join even if they had the funds. Nine of

I can not accurately describe myself without describing my family as a whole. I
come from a close knit family of parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins and
grandparents to which I am the only girl. That has provided me with many strengths
as well as some weaknesses. My family has always included more than just blood
relatives. We have had the mentality that if you are here you are family. For the most
part that has been a great way of life, however there have been times that it has
proven to be challenging. All of it however has shaped me into the person that I am at
this point.
Growing up surrounded by all men has enabled me to be many things. I am always
up for a challenge, I do not like to lose and I tend to think more logically about
things. I find that people seek me out for advice and I am able to give sound, logical
advice fairly easily. My family has been very protective of me yet will challenge me
to be better and step outside of my comfort zone to achieve something.

often had family that is not truly related to us. When I was in first grade I became

It was founded by Kuwait, Iraq, Iran, Venezuela, and Saudi Arabia. Its sole purpose
is to enact policies that set production limits for its member countries. Its goal is to
maintain order among the countries. This would create fair prices for all of those
countries who produce oil, as well as a steady supply to those countries who consume
the oil. OPEC does not have complete control over the price of oil as the actual
market influences that also (OPEC Fast Facts). These policies, production cuts and
production increases also rely on the honor system between the countries. When
production quotas are set, the countries all agree to abide by those quotas. If one
country does not abide by the rules, there are no penalties that the country could face.
On the other hand, countries will not produce very much over the quota in fear of
being banned from OPEC.
In the 1960 s, OPEC came into existence with the five original founding members. By
the end of this decade, it had grown to ten members, which now included Qutar,
Indonesia, Libya, United Arab Emirates and Algeria. By the 1970 s OPEC s power
and influence over the price of oil had grown immensely. It was at this time since
OPEC had been in effect that we had really observed an increase in the price of oil

This same logic leads not just towards generalized urban agglomeration but to the
emergence of multiple dense industrial districts within the metropolis. The internal
production spaces of large cities are composed of mosaics of particular kinds of
industrial land use focused on localized nodal clusters comprising activities that range
from manufacturing to office and service functions. For example, gun and jewellery
manufacturing in Birmingham, England; footwear industry of East London; clothing
production of New York City; motor vehicle industry of Tokyo; and office functions
in modern metropolis illustrate different aspects of the theory of industrial
organization and location. They represent especially clear cases of the internal
specialization of parts of the production space of the large metropolis. As such, they
illustrate both, the generality of the problem of agglomeration and the wide diversity
of concrete forms that it can assume under different conjectural circumstances.
The metropolis and the neighbourhood can be linked to the Chicago school of urban
sociology, which has developed ethnographic studies based on various ethnic
neighbourhoods over several decades. This kind of work focuses on interaction and
its density within the city, generating an ecological stereotype of the urban process
depending on the conflict and competition between various groups and their growth
