We were going to email J K Rowling, however on her pressing publicity it said that she was
unable to participate in doing an interview, unless it was a result of promotional gain.

Christine Walton has agreed to be interviewed in relation to our documentary on
Books vs. eBooks. This is scheduled for 30/10/2013.
Valarie
Hoskins
Associates
After recieving the response from Valarie Hoskins Associates, we found out that we were
unable to get an interview with either E L James or Ms Hoskins.
Librarian &
Author
We enquired as to whether or not we were able to interview an author within school and
they both informed us that it would be ok. We have confirmed it for the 11/10/2013.
2. Waterstones
Upon seeing the response from Waterstones, we found out that we had to contact
Waterstones Head Office about conducting an interview with any of its stores. Neither the
less, we decided to go and personally ask a Waterstones store manager, and we were
unable to gain an interview with any of the managers or staff.
Greasby
Library
After we received the email from Greasby Library we found out that we had to directly
contact Julie Mann who is senior librarian, and successfully managed to secure an interview
with her. We confirmed this for the 22/10/2013.
3. Patrick Ness
We decided to email Patrick Ness but we after we sent the email, we found out that even
though his books are distributed in the UK he actually lived in the USA, making it impossible
for us to get an interview with him, especially before the documentary was actually due.
Birkenhead
Press Limited
When we saw that we had gained no response through this particular form of contact, we
then decided to contact Birkenhead Press Limited through their sister site Countyvise Ltd.
Liz Folan
After gaining no reply from the sister site that was attached to Birkenhead Press Ltd’s
webpage we decide to call them up, but unfortunately we were unable to get an interview.
Liz Folan agreed to do an interview in relation our documentary Books vs. eBooks. We have
arranged the interview for 11/11/2013.
