Victoria Sethunye has asked me to write a letter of recommendation, and I am happy to do so.
She is seeking a position with you as a substitute teacher, so I would like to assure you that she is
qualified for just such a position.
I have ftnown Victoria for about ayeff and had her in a world literature course this last surrmer.
She did quite well in that course because she is obviously dedicated to her education and to that
of others. She is psychologically mature, responsible and dependable. No doubt, her character is
impeccable. What is more, she is intriguing because she has an uncanny knack for seeing things
from multiple perspectives. This may help to explain why she is so charismatic, why her
thoughts are so provocative to others, and why others can not help but to think more critically
when she is around.
Were my own son or daughter enrolled in your schools, I would be perfectly satisfied were
Victoria his or her substitute teacher. Should you have any questions about Victoria, please
contact me at (801)626-6717 or atrdeeter@weber.edu.
Most sincerely,
Ron Deeter,
Assistant Chair of English
