BRAINSTORM DISCUSSION POINTS - WHY DO YOU THINK THERE WERE SO MANY DIFFERENT ANSWERS TO OUR INTRODUCTORY ACTIVITY? - WHAT MAKES A PIECE OF MUSIC OR AN ART WORK 'GOOD'? - HOW DO WE KNOW THAT WE SEE COLOURS IN THE SAME WAY AS OTHERS, OR THAT WE HEAR MUSIC IN THE SAME WAY AS OTHERS? - HOW DO WE KNOW WHAT A PIECE OF ARTWORK IS 'MEANT' TO BE ABOUT? - HOW DO WE KNOW WHAT THE ARTIST MEANS FOR US TO UNDERSTAND, SEE OR FEEL?
  • 3. INTERPRETATION INTERPRETATION IS WHAT WE THINK A PIECE OF ART MIGHT MEAN OR BE ABOUT Everyone will interpret art in a different way, and that's okay! It might make you feel a certain emotion, or think or something specific, and that might be different to  what someone else thinks of! That's okay, that's your interpretation!
