This document discusses different types of analytical data visualization techniques called "clouding". It provides examples of comparative clouding using State of the Union addresses over time, culture clouding using movie data, resonance clouding comparing search results for climate change skeptics and scientists in Google, and cross-spherical clouding looking at an issue across different search engines and media types. The document also discusses exercises for clouding speeches, actions, keywords, slogans, and images related to a topic.
