DefinitionsDisease—an impairment of health or a condition of abnormal functioning.Vaccination—a precaution against contracting a disease.Chicken pox—contagious disease, usually in children, caused by a virus and marked by low grade fever and blister spots.Strep—Spherical Gram plus bacteria occurring in pairs or chains usually in throat.Mumps—Acute contagious viral disease characterized by fever and by swelling of the parotid glands.
