The cosmological model of the “Big Bang” describes how the universe expanded from an initial state of very high density and high temperature. If observed conditions today areextrapolated backwards in time using the known laws of physics, the prediction is that our Universe emerged from a singularity, a point of infinite density, and that before this event, space and time did not exist.
Current knowledge is insufficient to determine if anything existed prior to the singularity. Sixteen centuries ago, in his Confessions, Saint Augustine (354-430) posed the obvious question in biblical terms: What was God doing before he created the Universe?

Double taxation affects C corporations. Double taxation refers to situations when business profits are taxed at both the corporate and personal levels. First profits are taxed at corporate level before paying any amount to shareholders at the rate applicable to corporate. Then dividends are subject to tax at individuals tax rate Double taxation forces corporations to use debt financing, and encourage them to do retained earnings rather than distriubuting to shareholders in the form of dividends. Since the corporations are put at a disadvantage due to double taxation. This is not justified at all since shareholders are considered owners and their income is taxed twice. Dividend should be made exempt and corporates should not have top pay tax on dividends. thus we can say that double taxation affects business and investment decisions which is not justified at all.

Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

Solution
Classical physics was unable to explain the threshold frequency, which is the frequency of light
at which electrons are emitted from the surface of a metal. It predicted that energy from light
would be absorbed over time until an electron had sufficient energy to leave the surface of the
metal. Einstein used Planck’s theory and the concept that photons carried energy to explain
the photoelectric effect. Einstein assumed that light existed as photons, each with an energy
equal to E = h f and that the number of photons
determined the light intensity. Photons with the highest energy correspond to the highest
frequency, and an electron would not be emitted from a metal surface unless the photons
possessed energy equal to or greater than the energy needed to overcome the energy holding the
electron on the metal surface. The energy required to release the electron from the surface was
called the work function, W. Einstein was able to combine the photon energy with the work
function and the KE of the emitted electrons in the equation h f = EKmax + W
During the wars Planck's views on the independence of science was strong. He argued that
science should be an independent pursuit of knowledge, not controlled by the needs of the state
or industry. At the beginning of WWI, Einstein was the peaceful while Planck was urging the
scientific community to support the war effort. In contrast, at the beginning of WWII, Planck
was resisting the militarisation of scientific research while Einstein argued for scientists to aid
the military in development of nuclear weapons.
