3. PLOT

4. ORGANISATION OF ACTORS
• Libby Kirk– Main girl (Daughter)
Vulnerable, innocent girl to suggest she in unaware of possible future dangers. This builds a
sympathetic view of the character.
• Cam’s dad– Dad
A dad who spends his evenings drowning his sorrows. Cam’s dad looks the most like a dad
and he’ll be able to drink alcohol as he’s over the age of 18 and he has regular access to his
friends bar.
• Cameron Trevena– Killer
We never see the killer’s true identity therefore this causes a tension to be built with the
character and a mysterious aurora. When we researched people’s favourite components of
the Thriller genre and one of the most popular theme was mystery. We have therefore decided
to incorporate it into our film. We chose Cameron as he has dark hair that won’t stand out and
an average figure.

5. LOCATIONS
Woodland road-
We chose the Cold Ashby Rd as it is very quiet and hosts an ideal setting (woods). It will have
very little passing traffic and dark because of the overhead trees.

6. LOCATIONS
Bathroom–
We needed what seemed like a family bathroom as both the Dad and Daughter would be
using it. We found that Libby’s bathroom was the best fit as it was very unisex and simple. It
also had the best lighting of our options therefore making it ideal for filming.

7. LOCATIONS
Bar–
My dad’s friend Tom has a bar in his house and I was granted permission to go and film there.
It will be very dark and gloomy at night so it can be depressing which is what we wanted for
this scene. It has lots of drinks to fit the Dad’s alcoholic lifestyle.

8. Killer –
The killer will want to remain
unknown to the viewer, therefore
he’ll have to wear clothes that are
unrecognisable and very generic.
He’ll be wearing all black outfit
consisting of a hoodie, jeans and
black shoes.
The viewer will never see his face
and he’ll have a hood on at all times.

vulnerable she is.

and quite childish.

This is a smart and casual clothing for a
dad to show he is formal as he’s come
home from work but not overly formal so
the audience know he’s an ordinary dad.

We looked at the cars that we could
use and felt that the best option was to
use Cameron’s Dads car because it
links with the killers black clothes. The
red seats connote an aspect of danger.
This car was more involved within the
story line compared to Libby’s parents
car because they looked more like
family cars which isn't suitable for the
killer’s background.
