What is digital storytelling? Digital storytelling is telling a story using computer based tools.  It can include graphics, audio, video, and web pages to express ideas or actual events.
What are the Benefits? Stories can be created and shared anywhere in the world Stories can be created on any subject matter real or make believe
How Can Teachers Use Digital Storytelling in the Classroom? Teachers can use digital storytelling to teach new concepts in any subject area Teachers can share personal stories Teachers can share stories from another country Your students can learn biographical information about different historical figures.  Examples: Black History and Presidents
How Can the Students Use Digital Storytelling? Students can share their work with anyone, anywhere They can improve fluency by doing audio and listening to themselves read out loud They can learn new concepts or all about people Students can perform Science experiments Students can get more comfortable with digital media
