motion graphic videos and creating websites.
This Digital Portfolio contains my learning journey and some of my artworks
as a multimedia design student .
Hi, welcome to my digital portfolio.
3. I’m a multimedia design student from Saito College and I’m from Puchong.
I study design because I have always been interested in drawing. Other than
that, my other interests are mostly related to design. I want to learn more
and improve my skills.
I am a punctual and responsible person. I am also a good team player and
have some leadership skill to lead the team. Sometimes I would be curious and
love to learn new things to strengthen my skills and gain more experiences.
About Me
4. I want to improve my skills and be able to support my family. When I look at other
people working hard to achieve their dreams, it motivates me to try to achieve
my dreams too. It gives me strength to continue work hard and never give up.
My hobbies are drawing and taking photos.
Yamako is a Japanese illustrator. She inspired me through her collaboration with
HoneyWorks, a Japan-based musical group. HoneyWorks also inspired me with
some of their music videos that mixed motion graphic’s effects and Yamako’s
illustration together. Their works are really amazing and I can’t wait to see
what they are going to create for their next work.
My Passion
5. For this subject, I have learned more about the procedures in Pre-Production,
Production and Post Production. I have learned some video effects and green
screen replacement. I did a music video with my team mates and some short videos
with different effects. I learned to edit the videos by using Adobe After Effect.
The importance of this subject is to do research and find the suitable effects
for the video. The effects would be useful for creating advertisement video and
entertainment video and make it more eye catching.
My Learning Journey - Digital Video Production
7. In this subject, , I have learned to use html and Java script. I have learned to
use Adobe Dreamweaver and FileZilla to create a website. I have to create
two websites. One of the websites was made for a café and the other one was
a website about ourselves.
My Learning Journey - Electronic Publishing
The importance of this subject is to make sure our coding is correct so that
that it can function well and design a more visual appealing website. I would
be able to create a website from scratch.
9. For motion graphic, I was able to learn more about using Adobe After Effects to
create motion graphic’s effects. I have made a self- introduction video. I did an
infographic video with my team mates. It is important for creating commercials
and some animation video.
My Learning Journey - Motion Graphic
The knowledge that I learned from using Autodesk’s Maya can make
3D elements that can also combine with motion graphic and some
film to make an awesome combination. This would be useful for the
industry to make eye-catching videos and logo too.
11. These are some drawings that I did during my spare time. I was able to improve
my drawing skills from my basic drawing class and digital illustration class.
Sometimes, I would post some of my drawings at Instagram or join some
competition at Instagram too. I was able to get some positive respond about them
and it motivates me to practice and improve more.
Showcase - Illustration
12. These photos were taken when I was traveling and even some spare time when I
was waiting for the bus to come. I had always been interested in photography and
was able to learn more about photography in photography class. I also used
Adobe Photoshop to edit some of my photos. The photos that I have posted at
Instagram was able to get some good respond.
Showcase - Photography
13. My team mates and I had to design the Büffel figurine which is modelled after the
brand's logo – the Braun Büffel bull for the competition. We were able to get
shortlisted and went to KLCC to paint the real figurine. In the end, we ended up
being 7th place but it was a great experience for us.
Success Story - Büffel Art Competition
14. Internship Experience
I interned as a production department member at FoodAdvisor, a company that
do shootings and food review. They have a website to guide people to the best
restaurant or cafe to visit at their preferred area. During my internship, I assisted
with their shootings, edit videos, draw storyboard and design posters. I was able
to improve my video shooting skills and editing skills with Adobe Premiere Pro CC.
Other than that, FoodAdvisor also partner with other production company to do
shootings for big events. I also learned to do cinemagraph with Adobe Premiere
Pro CC and Adobe Photoshop CC from all these big events.
15. Internship Experience - Storyboard
I had draw a lot of storyboards during my internship. Example of storyboards were
for Global Oak Tree Scholars, Dika, Unisuites, Gravit8, Caring, Karcher, Niseko,
Gamoda and SP Setia Ecohill. It is an important process because a well-organized
storyboard can helps to ensure that everyone understands the goals
of the project and how the video and audio footage should work together.
16. Internship Experience - Designing Poster
I had design a few posters for social media content during my internship.
Other than poster, I realised this is how the industry nowadays promote themselves
with all the social media’s content such as pictures, gif, panorama video and videos.
17. Internship Experience - Cinemagraph
I had learned to make cinemagraph with Adobe Photoshop CC and Adobe
Premiere Pro CC. Cinemagraphs are still photographs in which a minor and
repeated movement occurs, forming a video clip.
18. Internship Experience - Video Editing
I have improve my editing skills with Adobe Premiere Pro CC. Video editing is
important towards the film industry. I can also combine my video editing skill with
my skill of adding effects with Adobe After Effects CC to create a better video.
