3. HELLO! I’m Pravin Raj Sekar. 1997 was the miracle year, I was born & raised in the
City of Lights Kkuala Lumpur. Currently I’m pursuing my Diploma In Multimedia
Design at SAITO COLLEGE. My interests are in Photography and Videography. I still
have a lot of room to learn and grow, to be successful in these areas.
Reason I’m Studying design is, I want to be a Video Game developer. So I join
Multimedia Design course. 3D Visualization & Animation is one of the
subjects in this course. Its helps me to gain my knowledge and
skills in video games.

I’m Adaptable & Quick Leaner, Multitasker & Hardworking, Ambitious & I’m very
passionate about my personal growth, I will keep on train myself to succeed in my
career. I will find a mentor & build a support system around myself.
I don’t just accept where I’m in life. If I want to be better, I will do better. If I want to
be more, will do more. It’s all on me so I just do it.
All through my secondary school days I have received many
appreciation certificates for participate in activities. During my
college days I have done few freelance work based on design
and photography.

5. My dream is I want be a 3D game developer, earn more, build a house, buy my dream
car, and if possible open my own company. I will do photography & videography as my
part time job.
Coaching others and gain more experience. Motivation drives me to reach levels. I once
deemed impossible. I like to be challenged on a job and desire the opportunity to utilize
my skills and talents.

7. LEARNING JOURNEY
I gain knowledge in Adobe Illustrator through this subject. Illustrator is the basic
tool for a designer. I learned the functions of each tools inIllustrator. Throughout
the semester I have discovered the function of RGB & CMYK. RGB are created by
adding variations of red, green and blue. The combination of all three creates
white.

8. CMYK created by combining cyan, magenta, yellow and Key (black). Those
colours combined creates black. I had done some artworks using illustrator
such as Design layout, Booklet, Bookmark, Design Vector, Calendar design and
etc. Doing those artworks helps me to improve my skills in Illustrator.

In CGD 2, all through the classes I acquire knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
Photoshop is very often the tool of choice for photo retouching or manipulate
images to improve their overall appearance. This program has a huge number
of filters, functions and other tools. Here some of my assingments.

10. I had done few artworks used this software such as create a vector using only
brushes, movie posters, and create a female knight warriorusing wacom
(pen tablet). Wacom tablets are a popular alternative to the mouse for painting,
drawing. It makes our work easy.

11. Maya is an animation and modelling program used to create three-dimensional,
and full-motion effects. 3D Visualization is used to view and interrogate 3D
models. Maya has a lot of functionality. Throughout I learned create and apply
materials to surfaces adding color, texture, and reflectivity & integrate cameras,
lighting and depth of field effects in the rendering process.

12. All over the semester I had modelling some objects such as spoon, fork, vase,
wine glass, superball bomb, robot and etc. End of the semester I’m became
familiar with the software.

3D Animation is about manipulation of 3D models or objects is carried out within
Maya for exporting picture sequences giving them the illusion of animation or
movement and life to your work with animation tools such as creating controller,
motion and rotation. For me 3D animation harder than 3D Visual. Because 3D
Visual is about only modelling an object and put texture or color on it, but 3D
animation is more to give movement or life to an object. Make it looks realistic.

Robots Fighting Animation
Throughout the classes I have learnt to animate Robot and human model with
natural human and robotic movement. The last step after model an object or
animate an object to makes it finalised is rendering. Renderingis the final output
of my work. If I join a company based on 3D, I’ll pick to work on with Visualization
rather than animation. My dream or goal is tobe a game developer so I help them
to model an object or character based on their project and complete it beyond
their imagine.

Videography is the art of shooting video. All over the semester what is filmmaking
and cinematography. There are 3 stages in Videography; pre-production, production,
and post-production. Pre-production is come out with a script, define your cast and
do storyboard and also I have learnt lightningmanipulation, changing out cameras or
lenses. Production is about on shooting time.

On that time I had done setting up multiple cameras and stationary cameras, and
using external microphones to capture all of the soundsaround them. Final stage
is post-production. Which means edit and combine the video you have taken during
shooting time, insert soundtracks and put some effects. For thissubject I had done
a short film with help of my team members.

DVP is about green screen replacing and the process of creating video by capturing
moving images, and creating combinations and reductions of parts of this video in live
production and post-production. All the way through the semester I have learnt to
replace green screen, add some VFX in video, multipleshots, screen replacing, text

I have done 3 assignments for this subject. First is replacing green screen; which
is take a video in green screen studio for few second and replace the green screen
picture or video using Adobe After Effects. Next is I did a music video; my lecture
choose a song for me, based on the song I took a video using 20% green screen and
80% outdoor or indoor. Final work is take 3 different videos using different VFX. I
choose 3 different VFX such as Multiple shots, screen replacing and text tracker.

20. I have did a Poster for baby naming ceremony event. My client Mr. Thiyagu
contact me and ask me to do the poster for his baby naming ceremony.
I did 3 different designs, my client choose 1 from the 3. My client was very
happy with the design and he praise my work. Here is the final poster design.

21. I did freelance photography for a wedding event . My client contact me ask to be a
photographer for the event. This was my first freelance photography. I had a great

24. I did my Internship at Illusion Fecit Sdn Bhd for 4 months. Illusion Fecit Sdn Bhd is
a dynamic Malaysian company working in the field of solution providing for the
mass media production. Experienced and skilled in media production, we undertake
projects ranging from Corporate Video, TV Commercial, Animations, Visual Effects,
Film Production to Distribution. We also offer expert advices in media production
pipeline.I really enjoyed workingthere. I have gained alot of new experiences and
new skills , softwares and knowdledge.

25. During my intern there I’ve many company projects. Such as Video editing,
animation, CGI, Photo Slide Montage and etc. Also I’vs been work on Pre-
production, production and post-production for a corporate video (Petronas).
One of the biggest project I did CGI works for Malaysian Movie (Rise of the Legend).
I did 32 shots. Mostly I did is Screen Replacing shot. I,ve used Adobe After Effects to
do all those shots.

Another big project I did is a Magic Shadow Dance Animation for a Property
Launching Ceremony. Before I start doing this project I watch few tutorial and
previos work did by my colleague. I have create many particle for this animation.
Such as sand, smoke, fire and also magic ball partical. I also have used 3D models
for this animation. i used Adobe After Effects to do this project.

I follow my boss for a Corporate Video Shooting (petronas). I’ve gained alot
shooting experience there and also get to meet some new people from same
field. I helped my boss to set up the camera, drone, stabilizer and etc.
