A digital native is someone who has grown up with technology and uses it in all aspects of their life. They process information differently than digital immigrants and are not afraid of new technologies. Digital natives learn visually, through movement, multi-task, collaborate with others, and can be obsessive with digital pursuits. Technology is integrated into their work, play, relaxation, communication, education, and virtual worlds. They stay connected through blogs, chat rooms, social media, and expect technology to be used in the classroom.
