1) The narrator is born as a green gummi bear in a factory and placed in a bag with other bears before being shipped to a supermarket. 2) At the supermarket, the narrator befriends a red bear named Katherine while waiting on a shelf. 3) The narrator and Katherine get bought by a woman and brought to her home, where they hope to have adventures until most of the bears get eaten by children, including Katherine.

2. The Beginning: Creation The factory that I was born in was dark and steamy. The other newborn bears were all around me. Our creation is like any other, melted gummi pressed into a shape and then cooled. I was born a green bear. Being placed in a plastic bag with other bears that I did not know was scary, I did not want to talk to anyone and I don’t think anyone else wanted to talk either.

3. The Middle: The Journey After being put in the bag and in a large box with many other bags I met my best friend her name was Katherine and she was a red bear. We talked all the way to our new home, the supermarket. No one knew why we went there but that’s where we were. After arrival are bag was placed on a metal hook.

4. The More Middle: The Wait We stayed on that hook with other bags in front of us. Katherine and I imagined what it would be like to leave this bag and go on wonderful adventures. One day the bag in front of us was moved away and we could see light outside our bag. Katherine and I tried to find a way out of the bag but it was too strong for our little gummi arms. After a while some lady picked up our bag and threw us into a metal cart!

5. The Continued Middle: The Travel The metal cart moved around and other items were placed around us. Some kid scanned our bag and put it in a bag with some other stuff, the tuna was kinda mean to us on the car ride to the lady’s house. Once there the bag we live in was placed on the counter. This lady had a nice house that would be great for mine and Katherine’s adventures. We were soon poured out of our bag and into a bowl.

6. The Start to End: The Goodbye Katherine and I started to climb over the other bears to get to the edge of the bowl to go explore but some kids came in and started grabbing bears, they were very choicy about what bear they wanted. Soon Katherine and I were grabbed the kid looked at us and put me back, but he ate Katherine! After the kids were gone not many of us were left most of us were green like me.

7. The Closer to End: The Escape I made it out of the bowl and to the floor where a fluffy animal played with me. I was tossed around and hissed at and sniffed, I finally made it under something where it could not reach me. After it disappeared I ran for the door. I made it out and started having adventures wishing that I had Katherine with me the whole time. I had a funeral for Katherine at one point it was very sad.

8. The End: Ending I did make some new friends everyone was a green gummi bear and they became my friends. I told them about Katherine and my escape of the furry thing. Most of them had just gotten thrown out. Eventually old age got my and I have started to mold a little. Some of my friends have molded and some are newer and are still fine. I have had some good adventures but I have never forgotten my friend Katherine.
