WHAT IS DIGITAL FLUENCY
• Sparrow (2018), ability to use technology, create new
knowledge, challenges and to solve those challenges
• Digitally fluent individuals are called ‘digital natives’
• Ability to use ICT effectively
• Green (2012) explained, digital natives refers to people born in
the digital age and interact with technology at young ages.
HOW TO USE IT IN THE CLASSROOM
• Teachers can implement online materials to increase student
understand and development (Thoermer & Williams, 2012;
Kaman & Ertem, 2018).
• Traditional learning (face to face learning) requires to be on
campus.
• Using online resources, teachers can find more information on
topics and use multimedia to boost engagement.
FLIPPED CLASSROOMS
• An example of how technology can be used for learning
• Also can be called blended learning classrooms
• University of Queensland (2018), blended learning is referred to
integrating on-campus learning with online learning.
• Gives students to look at learning content before classes at their own
pace and comfort of their homes
• For e.g. Teacher posts information and videos of the next topic
they’ll cover in the next lesson on a learning platform that students
can have access to

WHAT IS DIGITAL FLUENCY • Sparrow (2018), ability to use technology, create new knowledge, challenges and to solve those challenges • Digitally fluent individuals are called ‘digital natives’ • Ability to use ICT effectively • Green (2012) explained, digital natives refers to people born in the digital age and interact with technology at young ages.

HOW TO USE IT IN THE CLASSROOM • Teachers can implement online materials to increase student understand and development (Thoermer & Williams, 2012; Kaman & Ertem, 2018). • Traditional learning (face to face learning) requires to be on campus. • Using online resources, teachers can find more information on topics and use multimedia to boost engagement.

FLIPPED CLASSROOMS • An example of how technology can be used for learning • Also can be called blended learning classrooms • University of Queensland (2018), blended learning is referred to integrating on-campus learning with online learning. • Gives students to look at learning content before classes at their own pace and comfort of their homes • For e.g. Teacher posts information and videos of the next topic they’ll cover in the next lesson on a learning platform that students can have access to
